My boyfriend and I visited earlier this week and had an extremely poor experience. We are both 21 and 22, I showed my ID and had no issues. He handed his ID which is from another state the woman at the bar told him she couldn’t accept it because it was horizontal. He explained the state he is from gives vertical IDs but she would not accept the explanation and was extremely demeaning to him. She argued with him for an unnecessary amount of time before admitting she was wrong and letting us get drinks. She had an awful attitude and quite frankly ruined the atmosphere of the environment. I will not be returning simply from the awful service and attitude I saw.

the food and drink options are good, but a bit pricey for the quality. the pub also was a bit empty during a happy hour, so the atmosphere was good but not great.

Chicken tenders were more like chicken nuggets. I swear the McDonald's nuggets are bigger. Came with 4 nuggets, not worth for $11

Considering the prices of this pseudo-pub, no wonder why grad students at UCI are constantly striking. 10 bucks a beer and no happy hour! This is a good example of UCI's 2000s-style radical neoliberalism: you privatize every single service, so that these private companies can then charge the academic community whatever the hell they want.

The atmosphere is nice, but probably not a good place to watch sports games. The classic burger was okay... the beef was dry and not tender or juicy. But the bulgogi fries were good. It's nice to bring a friend to share fries with and drink some beer.

This place is awsome. I love this place this has always been my go to bar, since it was known as Fat Dog. Their service is great, their beer is great. They have really good mixed drinks as well. Either way stop by try it out. It gets pretty packed so try to get here quick.

The decor on the walls is akin to a library you might see at Oxford, though they still play contemporary hits.Their cocktails make them popular - they have an extensive list of 100's of unique flavor palates if you are interested in trying something new. Pretty much everything I've gotten here has been solid.Prices are as expected ($13-$15 for a drink), so it's a great place to wind up (or wind down) depending on how your night has progressed. Can get a bit busy on weekends, so don't expect to have a place to sit if you come at peak hours. Would recommend for a nice post-dinner date drink spot, or casual place to catch up with friends on weekdays.
