Went to Cozy Pine for date night and we enjoyed it. Really feels like you are in a different place, inside a restaurant. Decor, cocktails and food were all great. Definitively worth stopping in.
Food is mostly “snacky” compared to Bacchus outside. We did not have a reservation and we’re still able to get seated, likely because we arrived early in the evening.

This review is for Cozy Pines inside the restaurant.
If you’re in the mood for a fun, unique night out, Cozy Pine in Irvine is the place to be. It’s a camp-style speakeasy hidden inside the Bacchus Bar and Bistro, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots for tasty cocktails and finger foods. I made a reservation and came with my cousin and his wife, and we were all instantly impressed.
My go-to drink is the Camp Anawanna—a heavenly mix of graham cracker bourbon, marshmallow, and chocolate that tastes like an Old Fashion. We also tried the Death Valley (a spicy, fruity tequila number) and the Debris (a rich rye whiskey concoction), both of which were delicious.
As for the food, the campfire skewers and blue crab dip were spot-on. For a speakeasy, the food is surprisingly excellent.
Cozy Pine is a gem in Orange County—creative cocktails, cozy vibes, and great food make it a must-visit!

Let me start by saying I love filemignon... so at date night, I start my search at filemignon near me, depending where I am at that time... this place is definitely a diamond in the rough 8 oz. Filet Mignon for $38!!! The mashed potatoes could have been more buttery or flavorful in some other way., but the truffle Mac and cheese was fantastic! I was also happy that they had Caymus by the glass, which I cannot get pretty many places. The icing on the cake was my wife had the Chilean sea bass and compared it to mexico's & demolished the whole plate (which is rare)!!! Also, the Tar Tar was epic with a little spice (ask for more won tons).
Service is great and surprisingly, there was many sitting available. We'll definitely be back.

Made reservations for 2, when I got there my reservations were not honored. We drove 1 hour to try this place. Horrible service.
Stumbled on to this gem on a gorgeous Sunday, early afternoon. Nestled in a corner, they have a small, intimate outdoor seating area which is dog friendly. How awesome. Also shaded by beautiful palms and a large fountain that can lull your cares away. Outstanding service by Eric. Enjoyed some very good wine and heard the next table rave about their breakfast burrito; from brunch menu. Definitely will be back to try the evening menu with my pup!
This review is for Cozy Pine, which is a separate room inside the Bacchus restaurant. Fun room for drinks and a bite. Very outdoorsy feel. My Goddess and I went in after having dinner in Bacchus. What a fun experience! Drinks were really good and you feel like you are at a campfire instead of in a bar.
It's a small space, so keep your party to 4 max.
The staff is great, attentive. Food was delicious. Not a ton of seating so keep that in mind when deciding what time to go. Price is not cheap considering the quantity of food, but the quality was on point.
The speak easy is a cool idea, has a camp site vibe to it. Super small, a bit shoulder to shoulder

Service and food is great, but it's quite pricey (which is probably expected). I like speakeasy inside and it's great that we have a bar opened later in Irvine now. The only point is to make better ventilation for the area inside as it gets pretty hot.

Review is for the Cozy Pine speakeasy 😬 definitely a neat speakeasy with cabin vibes! Try the apex predator for a refreshing drink and if you want festive, my faves were the naughty nog and camp anawanna ** Reservations recommended

The food was good.
We highly recommend the goat cheese balls, grilled cheese sandwich, the steak, and the bratwurst. The steak was cooked to perfection - a good bite, tender, not very chewy.
The drinks were ok and the cocktails were interesting.
The service and the ambiance of the speakeasy was excellent.

This place is awesome! The owner and staff were all very friendly and on top of it. Food was excellent and it was cool grabbing a drink at their speakeasy Cozy Pine. You def want to check out Cozy Pine too. Their attention to detail is phenomenal.

We went to Bacchus bar to visit cozy pines speakeasy. We arrived a little early so we sat at the bar and had a round of outstanding drinks made by a friendly and informative bar tender. They where sort staffed so it took a little bit to get seated, but that wasn't a problem, we had a good bartender. When we were shown to our table it felt a little close tightly packed in the cabin. We ordered the tomatoes soup canteen, goat cheese balls, and camp skewers. The food was really good and well plated. My wife ordered a cocktail with a sprig of smoking rosemary. Over all we had a great time and the servicecwas great.

The ambience alone was definitely the highlight of our visit. The speak-easy, camp theme was well-executed, and I give full credit to the team for their efforts in creating such a unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food, while acceptable, was significantly overpriced. We anticipated high prices, so this wasn't a major issue.
What really let us down was the service. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, everything took an unusually long time. The food, however, came out quickly, indicating that the cook was competent and perhaps the only one truly putting in effort.
Furthermore, If they want to stick with the camp theme, they should consider incorporating more camp-related flavors into their menu both drink and food. Additionally, hiring better staff is crucial. The place has great ideas behind it, but it's so poorly run that it seems destined to fail. It’s so close to being a nice place, which is probably what makes me so upset. I'm torn between wishing this place would fail and hoping they improve. I feel bad for the owner and wish them good luck in the future, but we won't be returning.
