The ube soft serve and souffle pancakes were amazing. Some rude lady brought in a dog and lied to the staff about it being a service dog and demanded a refund for her drink, but that's not on the establishment. The staff was excellent and very polite.

Irvine tea and coffee house located on the corner of Yale and Trabuco. Courteous staff, clean French inspired interior, and sunlit patio. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the corporate cafes, then Baum Tea & Coffee is definitely one to check out.?

Inside the restaurant was very cute with all the decorations (straight out of a K-drama)! However this spot was hard to find! It is in the center with the Furiwa but you have to walk around the building to the street facing side. Almost missed it! Got the bear custard soufflé pancake and it did not disappoint! Very soft/fluffy and not too sweet.

Excellent service and great decor/vibes, but drinks (especially the matcha drinks) were mediocre.

It was freezing outside and I asked if I could bring chairs in because they didn’t have enough chairs to sit in -they had tables but no chairs.I was thinking to bring them in and put them back out and they say NO. What kind of place is this? It was night with no one waiting nor outside. Definitely not coming back. That didn’t make any sense at all, but ppl can’t use their brains anymore.

I was looking for the best souffle pancakes and found this place, and it is definitely the best! The price is great and the pancakes are fluffy! I tried their new flavors, creme brulee and tiramisu, both delicious, would 10/10 get again. The creme brulee is a little sweet (from the brulee part my fav) but both aren't that sweet, light and fluffy, reminiscent of Japan souffle pancakes but bigger! I am going to try all the other flavors!

We also ordered their pandan taiyaki pizza and corn cheese ? would order again! And their egg scramble brioche sandwich with pork sausage (+$1 extra), my husband's favorite! On top of this we ordered a cold brew and iced Spanish latte with soy and both are good drinks, I would try their milk teas next! All this for around $54.99 ( including tip ?) The customer service was great, and I believe the owner was at the register and he was very kind and brought our order to us outside!

Will be back again for delicious food and drinks!

Very cute place, great service, great coffee. The space is perfect for studying and grabbing coffee, located in a quiet corner on Trabuco and Yale. I ordered the Vietnamese egg coffee and the egg foam was absolutely amazing--very thick and creamy. The coffee did feel a little less strong than most of the other vietnamese coffees I've had, so I'll probably add an extra espresso shot next time I go. I will be returning soon!
