Out of all of the places to get a Korean corn dog in the Irvine area, this place is definitely my favorite! When I came I got a mozzarella dog covered in sweet potato. It was perfectly sized and yummy. One of my favorite things about here is that they have a bunch of sauces at the side and you can put whatever ones you like on top. The staff was very friendly and honestly my order came out quickly. The next time I have a corn dog craving this will definitely be my go to!

There are plenty of parking spaces. The place is inside Zion Market at the front entrance. You get to choose a sausage-based, toppings on top, and sugar option. I got the Cheddar Cheese Dream (Pork & Beef Sausage wrapped with Cheddar Cheese) with Potatoes as a topping and sugar on the side. The wait time was pretty fast, about 5 - 10 minutes. They also have a mini sauce stand for your hotdog. The hotdog was chunky with the potatoes as toppings, but was so good! It was filling and a great snack! I'd recommend using their sauces to dip the hot dog, as it'll taste a lot better. I tried the Garlic Parmesan and Sweet Corn Mayo sauces. Both sauces were great, but I'd prefer the Garlic Parmesan. I didn't use the sugar on the side (it was sugar packets), since I had the sauce. It was a great hot dog and worth trying.Recommendation(s):- Cheddar Cheese Dream with Potatoes as toppings- Garlic Parmesan and Sweet Corn Mayo as saucesTip(s):- Plenty of parking spaces- Store is located inside Zion Market (at the front of the entrance to your left)- Accept Apple Pay

Super good and crispy with a bunch of sauces you can choose from. There was also a student discount so I definitely recommend for people currently going to school and needing a quick meal (UCI is pretty close to it, just about 10 min away).

My very first time trying this Korean street food specialty. I had the half cheese and sausage stick and asked for light sugar, which was PLENTY. The various sauces that were offered on the side for dipping were many. I think I liked the mango and the mustard the best. The batter is thick, sweet, crisp and fluffy, all at the same time. The cheese is hot and strings out as you take a bite. I felt like i was having dessert and lunch rolled into one. Cute and organized box for taking out too. We ate our dogs in the parking lot, in our car, before hitting the busy freeway back to the San Gabriel Valley. I guess the closest franchise to us is in Fullerton, but I will choose this location if I'm ever in Irvine.

Delicious hot dog on a stick. Got the mozzarella with Frosted Flakes and it was great with the sweet chili sauce. Located inside the grocery store with a descent seating area and there are a few other restaurants right next to it. The take out box was sturdy and kept the dogs warm all the way home. About $6 each. Options include hot dog, cheese, hot dog and cheese, and the toppings are potatoes, sweet potatoes, Frosted Flakes, and rice crispiest. Lots of sauces on the side.

Food taste like it looks and food comes out just like the photos. Prices are reasonable, another reason to go there. And good dipping sauces that is all help yourself. No service folks to tip-which I like bc most places waiting on tables are disappointing.

Really tasty rice dogs. They make it fresh right when you order so the cheese is melty and the breading is always super crunchy. They have the most variety in terms of sauces as well, compared to other korean corn dog places I've been to. It's located in the Zion supermarket, so it's a nice treat after grocery shopping! I really like the custom made to-go boxes they have for the rice dogs too; it's made with pretty sturdy hard paper and a shiny lining on the outside to keep any grease from leaking through. Highly recommend!

Full disclosure, I rarely like hot dogs. Prefer grilled when indulging in one. The staff is wonderful. The outside layer and sauce selection good. But the spicy hot dog was awful. I took one bite and threw it away,

So Bazak Bazak popped on my radar I was really curious. and had to give it a shot. When you get there it is in the Zion market through the left side entrance and the first stop on the left when you walk in. The menu is simple and they have some pre-loads that you can order that will have all the delicious goodness. 1- There is not much to the place since it is in the market but the staff was cool and there are some seats and tables that you can eat at. There is a menu that tells you how t make your own and there is a menu above the register with some preload options. The one thing I would say they could do is to refer to sauce options. There are several sauces and I did not want to go back to the table with one of each sauce soooo i took a gamble. So my only suggestion would be to recommend a sauce with some of the preloaded menu options 2- The service was pretty great, The young lady in the front was great with recommendations and explaining the menu options. I always ask what their favorite options are and she did refer to a good cheese dog. 3- The corn Hot Dogs were delicious and the cheese was a stretch of cheesy delight. I also tried the spicy dog and it went awesome with the spicey mayo and the habanero sauce. I tried the mixed cheese one too with the cornflakes and some sugar and it was different and I'm still on the fence with it lol but regardless I did finish it. Overall the I will be back and I'm looking forward to trying some other combinations.

Bazak Bazak took over the spot of the bakery that was in Zion Mart. I've been here a few times since they've opened and every time the food and the service have both been really good! I like that you can mix and match the inside of the corn dog and the toppings on the outside. My favorite base so far is the half and half (you can choose beef or pork for the sausage) and my favorite topping is the cereal (but the potato is great for when I want something a little more substantial). You can also get no topping on your corn dog if you just want the basic breading. I like getting sugar on mine, but you can get it on the side if it's your first time trying it and you're not sure if you'll like it. I think the only topping I would not recommend sugar with is the sweet potato because that combination is too sweet for me personally, but it may be good if you want something sweeter. They have a lot of sauce options, too! I definitely will keep coming back here.

Delicious. We were skeptical about the sugar dusting but after talking to the owners we decided to try a light dusting. Delicious. Lots of dipping sauces too. The people working are kind and helpful. We did number 1 and number 6. I highly recommend!

Tried for the first time today. #5 Big dog, with potato & sugar. The cook could tell I was a noob, came over and recommended I try it with the Cajun powder and sweet Thai chili sauce. Most excellent! I also tried it with a bit of the sweet corn mayo, another winner. The service was polite and friendly. Order was ready in 5 minutes and reasonably priced -$6. Oh, and the dogs are quite filling- 1 is enough. Will be back to try some of the other dogs.

Delicious with a wide variety of sauces you can choose once you get your dog. Very helpful and courteous staff. Highly recommend if you need a quick, filling, and tasty bite.
