Incredible experience! Food and service were amazing. Luis was just the best! The band was so good and great guys. We had an amazing time and will be back! Can't wait to visit again from Cleveland Ohio!
This was an interesting experience. We very much enjoyed the food and my shrimp dish was one of the best I've ever had. Drinks were fabulous and well crafted. The interior ambiance is really interesting and beautiful. The Art Gallery like atmosphere was really interesting and fun. The drop ceiling was beautiful and creative. The bar is really cool and a great spot to sit and hang out. Stafff was very friendly and helpful. That being said, initially it was a little confusing as to whom our server was because they didn't introduce themselves when they came to the table however, service was solid. Even though this is a very large space, the traffic on a Saturday night was minimal. This restaurant has so much going for it however, the entertainment is just not right for this particular location and crowd. A change in music selection will go a long way to getting this restaurant up to par for the price point. Because music sets the tone, it's important for this upscale space not to have lounge singers rather, music that is a little more current and upbeat. Also, turning down the house lights will create light and shadows intended by this beautiful ceiling and lighting on the artwork. Just a few changes and this place will be packed every night. Thank you for a great dinner:)
Food, and Service was great. Band was fun but a bit noisy. Ambience was very nice. I would go there again.
The restaurant is always beautiful, and the ambiance is very elegant and inviting. The food was very delicious, and we all enjoyed the service and the attention to detail. The restaurant manager and staff are all very welcoming.
Fantastic night out with live soulful music great tasting food and friendly atmosphere. You can't go wrong with Bistango for an enjoyable experience overall.
Service initially felt a little rushed but it was understandable because we came at lunch rush during a business day. We had two servers and they worked very well in tandem, and made adjustments when they found out it was one of our birthdays. We felt very comfortable and welcomed with the service. The hostess was also extremely polite and friendly.
Great food. Great service. Diamond in the rough. Had no idea this place was here. Will be going back.
Bistango combines great food and service with music (for those who love to dance). The Chilean seabass is noteworthy. Last night I had the scallops and my wife the barramundi (special of the day). Both were excellent. For dessert we favor the pear tart with vanilla ice cream but many people go for the soufflé. The servers are attentive and helpful. Mehdi is great!
We have dined at Bistango to celebrate special occasions for many years. This year was a definite disappointment. It was a birthday celebration for two family members, and our 3 yr old granddaughter also attended. The service last night was very poor compared to the past. There were long gaps between ordering and delivery. We were there from 630pm until almost 9pm! One would think that with a toddler there, service would accelerate some rather than slow down. And, the Grand Marnier Souffle ordered was forgotten about. We did, however get the spoons delivered. There was a curt apology, but no attempt by the server or others to make this right. BTW, two in our party tried the Pre Fixe option for the Newport Beach Restaurant Week. It was okay, but not up to the regular standards of the menu; except for the garlic soup, which was exceptional as always. Bottom line, we will look at other options for our next special event.
We love the vibe at Bistango. The live jazz music is a real draw & so enjoyable! Food & service is always great!

The service is always good and courteous. People are very nice and polite Food quality is good and delicious I love visiting this place Thank you
We have been going to Bistango for over twenty years. We had been there just a few weeks ago and were delighted with all aspects especially an improvement in the food. Last night we returned for two birthdays. Of the four entrees only my lamb chops were well prepared and the sides compatible and delicious. The scallops were paired with mashed sweet potatoes, the two New York strips were both undercooked for medium rare and the quality had gone down from just a few weeks ago. Probably due to the much too loud musicians, our server did not hear some of our orders as it turned out. Overall service was below par. Empty wine glasses were not removed ever. The shared souffle was set at a corner rather than moving (or removing) salt and pepper shakers (and empty glasses) to be in the middle. Jamoa Moberly and Mike Caruso
Food was great but overpriced for total experience. Staff very friendly and great as usual.New year music was not as expected😞 great for senior crowd (75++)
The NYE package was a bit high for the quality of food and the lack of Vegan/modified options. I do understand with a fixed menu they are limited. I think the quality of the Chilean sea bass could have been better as well. Overall though the ambiance, vibe and restaraunt were amazing. Our waiter was excellent and made up for the limits with his great service.
We celebrated a birthday & we had a great experience Everything from food quality & service was superb.
