Consistently small portions and the quality is not there

Likely fraud here. This is an order-at-the-counter restaurant. When you order something, the price listed in the menu is NOT what you are actually charged. They add a "labor charge" to their already high prices. ($12.95 for a salad). You only know about this labor charge after you are rung up and if you happen to glance at the screen below the register. There is no prior notice. In the first subtotal screen, it's called a "service charge," on the final screen, it's now called a "labor charge." Is it a built-in tip? No, because the next screen asks if you want to add a tip. Is it tax? No, that was separately added. It's just a fraudulent charge with no prior notice. On my meal with a list price of $12.95, the phony charge was $0.39. Obviously that's not going to break the bank, but think about how these little stolen funds add up for this restaurant over the course of a day, a month, a year. They're hopping it will slip by unnoticed (in most cases) or, if you do notice, you won't be willing to walk away by the time you've been rung up.

This place offers wonderful service as well as delicious menu. My favourite spot in the area. The drinks and food arrived fast and the prices were inexpensive. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Food sucks here!! Too expensive food for not so great quality. I have been here few times with my team mates and food wasnt that great. Service was alright. Tried their salmon with spinach and salmon was dry. Tacos were ok. I only come here when its team lunch or having time crunch and need to have a quick bite.

This place rules every time. Repeatable cheesesteak awesomeness and they're willing to cook anything to order. We stop in at least twice per month.

Easy if you are in the area, good quality, they validate parking.

Poor management and menu planning. Always run out of certain items such as the chicken salad pack. I guess they don't notice that and the end of every day they have several tuna salad packs left but run out of chicken salad.

This place his gone to the dogs. I work in the building next door and we would come here almost every day out of convenience. I feel like that is the only reason anyone comes here. The prices have increased and quality decreased consistently that you are now paying $15 for a lousy lunch. If you are thinking of walking in here. Stop. There is Jan's in building 4 or Eats in Hotel Irvine that are much better options. Until this place reviews their prices or updates their menu, I will avoid despite the convenience.

Convenient place for lunch since I work in the complex. I've been here a few times now and have only eaten their salads. - Cobb Salad, great presentation. Good size portion. Tasty with a good amount of my fav bleu cheese. - BBQ Chicken Salad, really like this one as well. Be sure to ask for the bbq ranch dressing on the side. Need to comeback and try their sandwiches.

I really like this restaurant... it is super convenient for those who work in the Park Plaza area. It is located in Building 1 straight ahead of the entrance. I have tried a few things so far and have liked them all! Tuna Melt: I changed the Muenster cheese and replaced it with Pepper Jack. I wanted Swiss but they do not have Swiss cheese. The melt was prepared perfectly. The bread was toasted but not hard, nor soggy. It was amazing. I added French Fries and a 20 Oz Drink for $3.45. Veggie Sandwich: This was AMAZING. I always worry with sandwiches like this that I am not going to get full, and that there will be no flavor. Not the case at all. Next time I do think I would get the balsamic on the side, but it was still delicious. Tons of flavor and had bulk to it. I will definitely get this again, and often. Classic Bistro Burger: I subbed a beef patty with the black bean patty. I am often very picky about non meat substitutions at restaurants but this one was delicious!! The only thing I noticed is it was very soft. It did not stay together at all, so it was very hard to eat my burger. My coworker said his beef patty was the same though... it was a bit weird. Delicious though. I also added the fries and drink to this meal. This place has all sorts of snacks as well. CANDY! CHIPS! COOKIES! So many things. So convenient but so dangerous to go overboard as well :)

I've heard a lot about Bistro 24's macaroni and cheese, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with a to-go order. It was much smaller than the dine-in portion. I think for $4.50 it should be put in the 12 oz cup and filled with at least 10 oz. instead of barely being filled in an 8 oz cup/. I understand that most restaurants tend to give less when it comes to take out orders because presentation doesn't matter as much, but I still want to argue that this shouldn't be an excuse to skimp out on the quality or quantity. The amount of oil that seeped through my cup was quite shocking as well. Parking is absolutely terrible here during the week as it is in fancy Irvine office buildings. Bistro 24 does validate thankfully. If you are calling and picking up an order, you can park for 10 minutes on the first floor.
