With the price of dining out so expensive, our group of 6 each ordered the $13 pizookie meals. Everyone enjoyed their dinner & perfect size single serving of pizookie for dessert. Our waiter, Presten, was the best....very sweet, experienced and accommodating to any of our requests.
I had not been here for a while. My friends and I met up for a happy hour reunion. I must say the appetizers were all fresh and good-tasting. We picked a spinach and artichoke dip, spring rolls, potstickers and a half-priced pizza. The pizza was delicious. They're trying out a new crust, and we gave it five stars. Our server was Grant, and he was very accommodating and pleasant to have as our server.
Eclectic menu with something to please everyone. Slow service and very segmented with different people taking orders, delivery of food and clearing tables.
BJ's a good go to restaurant when you have a group of people as it has a little of everything that will suit a person's taste. Resonably priced, good size portions and it's pretty tasty. They have good specials on the weekends and a decent selection on appetizers. The service is usually always good and they are very accommodating on your concerns.
We came before the dinner rush, there were lots of open tables. Why did the hostess set us right next to the loud large group of screaming 9-year-old baseball players who were slamming the metal gate? We should have asked to move. It was difficult to converse, much less enjoy our dinner. Was management paying attention? Other than that, the food was generally good.
I had a reservation and was seated promptly. The service, food, and ambience were excellent
Worst dining experience ever. The waiter would constantly be forgetting our requests, food, drink, the correct number of plates. They didn't give us half of our meal. Told the manager about our experience and they “took off some items” on the bill- those that we didn't receive (and that we weren't planning on paying for). Absolutely awful experience.
It hurts to tip 20% here

They advertise happy hour prices during all NFL games. On Saturday when NFL games were scheduled, they fraudulently billed customers full price for product they promised customers were discounted. I don't know if it was the bartender, the manager, or corporate BUT numerous customers(including myself) were overcharged on Saturday (12/28/24).

We order vegetarian pizza but receive meat pieces in it. We are complete vegetarian and this is very annoying. Esp when when we have invited guest and to throw whole pizza away because of it.

Whatever wait time they quote you, just quadruple it... Apparently, we will seat you right away, means an hour wait... a dozen groups checked in after us and got seated before us.
Update: we just left because we were still waiting. The hostess didn't really care, so there you go.

We came here with friends to watch the Chargers play. Our waiter was very nice (thank you, Marshall ). We ordered lemon pepper wings as an appetizer, and they were hot and delicious. We switched booths as a larger one opened up, and our server was able to follow us. Soon after, the waiter accidentally knocked over a beer, the glass broke, my jeans were soaked, and it was quite a kerfuffle. But they were appropriately apologetic and quickly cleaned things up. It got worse, though. Our meals took at least 30 minutes, and were cold. They made them again, it took forever and they were cold again! There were multiple times throughout the evening where dishes came crashing to the floor. It was crazy busy and chaotic. They were desperately understaffed. The manager came over and was fake-nice. She offered to bring more drinks and food. We placed our orders and literally never saw her again. We used to love this restaurant. But that was before covid. So many restaurants just have not recovered their culture, level of food, and quality of service since then. That certainly goes for BJ's. They gave us 2 free desserts and didn't charge for the cold meals we returned. We don't blame the server at all. The management is nonexistent.

Had a great experience tonight with my family for dinner. Steph was our waitress and she was delightful. She was very nice and friendly. Anything we asked of her, she delivered. She’s a great worker. We will be coming back and asking for her to be our server.
