This place is a gem! Italian done right- tried a classic- pepperoni pizza, which was loaded with nice thick slices of pepperoni and real mozzarella. The sauce was just the right amount of tangy and sweet, and the crust was on the thinner side- crispy and browned nicely. 9/10. We also had a meatball sub- I'm very picky about a good meatball and these were as good as any I've tried with a robust meaty flavor and a perfect mix of spices. The marinara was the same as on the pizza and again, complemented the crispy roll & plenty of mozzarella. Another home run! 10/10!

We attempted to order last night 7-25-22 using a third party delivery service that takes order for the restaurant. Forty five minutes after we placed a confirmed order, the app cancelled our order due to the restaurant being closed. I hope the owner can figure out what is wrong with the online system.

This place is horrible. We ordered food from their website and chooses to pick up at a Monday 11:45AM during their OPEN hours! After we got here no one is here to help us! Their neighbors told us no one for this restaurant is here! Come on! if you are not even open At least make a note on your website! And change your yelp hours! Ridiculous!! All my company staff is waiting for this company lunch meal and we drive all the way here and get nothing! And no one even pick up calls!

Really wierd quote-unquote restaurant! It's more like just a commercial kitchen really... You have to park out back or use a Ring doorbell and then someone is simply supposed to leave your food sitting on a rack.Way too odd and frustrating of a process for me. It takes socio-isolation and viruphobia to a whole new level. ?

Boscoso Italian Kitchen is a 'cloud kitchen', meaning they utilize a commercial kitchen for the purpose of preparing food for delivery or takeout only, with no dine-in customers. They're located within Smart Kitchens (Suite F). If you use the iPhone maps, it'll take you right where you need to go. Customers pick up in the front, whereas food delivery companies pickup in the back. There were about 8 other cloud kitchens located within Smart Kitchens. I love that their food is more affordable than a sit-down restaurant, and they're located close to several offices and SNA - so makes it a great option to pick up for dinner after Now to the food - we ordered Spaghetti with Meatballs and Penne Arribata but with the creamy marinara instead of the spicy. The portions are great, but I got the wrong penne. Let me tell you, I received the most spicy food I've ever had in my life - not kidding. I'm currently sweating out of every pore of my face & my nose is running as I attempt to eat it. I'm talking spicier than any Mexican, Thai, Indian, etc. food at their spiciest possible level, eating all the wasabi at once type spicy. My fiancé is Colombian and LOVES spicy food, and it was way too spicy for him. I think maybe it was a mistake to make it this spicy? Anyway, just do the CYO so there's no confusion if you want penne pasta that's not spicy. Eek!

3.5 stars; I believe Boscoso is one of those ghost kitchens, where they don't really have a space to sit but they're on the delivery apps. We ordered Uber eats from here, it was decent. The pizza was good but it didnt have one of those little plastic table things and the lid got squished on the pie. Because of this, part of the cardboard was on the pizza. The pasta was okay, but I would consider ordering their pizza again especially if I was picking up myself and could ensure the lid won't get squished.

This spot is a Cloud Kitchen -- no dine-in and take-out only! It's pretty tricky finding and exiting the place because all the buildings appear to look the same. We ordered through GrubHub and got the Pepperoni Bake, Lasagna, Penne Arribiata, and CYO pasta. The portions were great and the food was piping hot! The penne arribiata was surprisingly really spicy so definitely skip this dish if you're sensitive to spice. Definitely try the lasagna and pepperoni bake!

Pizza was good, pasta was yummy. They forgot items and didn't include condiments paid for.

The pizza was excellent. Highly recommended. I’ll be going back soon.

EDIT: I have been a second time now (first time I had amazing pizza - read below) but this time I tried the pastrami sandwich like the owner recommended. YUM. I love a good pastrami - I used to live in NYC and had many, MANY pastrami sandwiches (classic rye, mustard, swiss, pickles). This Boscoso pastrami had a twist (ciabatta, mozzarella, smoked sharp cheddar, pickles, spicy mustard, mayo, and I got extra pickles). The pastrami meat is soooo good (not stringy and fatty) and the bread was so fresh. I got the side pasta salad to go with it and the side was very large, had lots of fresh veggies. I highly recommend!---------------Review from first visit:So good!!! This place just opened at the Irvine Smart Kitchens and I'm so glad they did! This pizza was amazing. I got the 10" Boscoso Fall Feature pizza with thin crust. It was really filling - I could only eat 3/4 slices and had to take the last one home (it reheats REALLY well in one of those Ninja toaster oven things). The toppings were all high quality and delicious, the consistency of the crust was perfect, and it was not overly greasy. When you order for pickup through ToastTab they give you an ETA for the order, and Boscoso brought my pizza out just on time, to the exact minute of the ETA. It was perfect and piping hot - and their pizza peppers are really good too. You know how sometimes pizza peppers seem to have lost all of their spice and flavor? Well these ones were fresh and spicy. I highly recommend Boscoso and I'll be ordering again soon :)

Love the food! The ex-owner of Gina's Pizza in Irvine came up with this concept, and man I can say I love it! The pizza was fresh and tasty, as well as the salad (love the Dijon vinaigrette)! The pastrami sandwich is also one of my favorites I've had! The ordering is simple, as they have a walk in area with TV's and a tablet to order from the many restaurants located in the building. (They also deliver via Uber Eats, Grub Hub, And Doordash), There is a seating area under some trees as well to eat once your food is ready. I highly recommend giving Boscoso a try!

Ordering on the website was super easy and there is a cute park with benches outside so you can sit and eat. The food was delicious and we can't wait to come back for more! We got the pepperoni pizza pinwheels and the caprese salad, split between 2 of us and we were stuffed. Super fresh, top notch ingredients. Can't go on enough about how FANTASTIC the food was. Bravo Ryan and Jesus!!!

Delicious, affordable, and convenient. A friend and I placed an order on their website for pickup. The site was simple to navigate and the menu had pictures (which I love) this made it easy and quick. The prices all seemed reasonable at first glance. We ordered a 12" Boscoso Fall Feature pizza. Classic pizza sauce, roasted tomatoes, Italian salami, arugula, roasted garlic, red onion as well as an order of garlic bread. Pickup was quick as my gps took me straight to the back door where there is an easy to find doorbell. Within seconds someone was there with our order. There is a front entrance to the building as well where you have the option to go inside and order on site. This kitchen is designed for delivery or takeout however there are a few picnic like benches within the complex itself. Let's get to the food! It was delicious and we will be coming back for more. The pizza was not only flavorful with fresh ingredients but also aesthetically pleasing. Something you would expect to see at a top of the line expensive Italian restaurant. After splitting this and some fresh garlic bread and still having leftovers I was impressed that two of us could dine this well on less than $25 with tip. In conclusion if you're looking for top quality Italian food without the entire formal sit down experience ( like so many of us are) look no further. Our favorite new spot. Can't wait to try more from this menu.

Excellent margarita pizza! Loved the crust. We also ordered the meatballs, which were very good as well! Definitely ordering again.

Ordered online at 5:30pm. Order canceled by 5:48pm, no explanation. Papa Johns may be borderline garbage but at least they don't pull stuff like this.
