It’s Boudin Sourdough! Good service. Simple vibe. A variety of bread soup bowl options, and sammiches. We had a clam chowder and a butternut squash bread bowl. Hot soup. Fresh bread bowl. Straightforward. This chain is a step above fast food and is its own specialty. Parking is confusing, but we followed signs for “retail parking.”
Wanted to love this Boudin SF, and the food itself was a good reminder of why I like them. BUT the location is letting them down. Dirty tables everywhere, a messy drink area, and a really slow kitchen despite the staff presence. It felt like there was a disconnect in priorities. Plus, the stale bread was a letdown. If they can get the operational side sorted out, this could be a great spot.
A small group of us stopped in for lunch during the week, the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were in and out with in 45 minutes. So perfect for our lunch stop!
