Way, way too much salt. Yikes! Definitely a sign of amateur cooking. You'll notice at first bite. The restaurant has potential. With proper management and kitchen staff, maybe. It would take a huge improvement to get to the level of other Italian food chains (Olive Garden).

Food was only adequate. The 2 orders that had chicken were dry; marsala sauce very dark and not inviting. Gnocci was very good; Calamari too.

Service was the worst we've had in a while. Waited 20-mins for a server to acknowledge us then another to get water. I had to go to the bar for 1st rounds of water. Food arrived on time; most enjoyed their dinner. The lobster bisque was too salty. The molten chocolate cake showed up luke warm and was served with our empty dinner plates still on the table. The left-over boxes showed up with the check but were asked for before the desserts showed up. The price was great but the crap service clouded the whole experience. Very disappointing.

Amazing food and service! The chicken limone was the best I ever had! The staff truly made us feel special during our celebratory meal.

It was the worst food and service I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. They didn't have espresso because their coffee machine was broken, and they didn't have pizza because they ran out of dough. It took an hour to bring us some dreadful food on a Sunday morning, without any coffee.

We were highly disappointed with our visit. The service was poor, the food was ok, but that did not bother me. @ out of 5 orders were done incorrectly. An honest, but frustrating mistake. the challenge was that the waiter made us feel like it was our fault then by the time our food arrived, everyone else at the table had already finished their food. The manager did come over to apologize, which was nice. But he should have offered to remove our dishes from the bill, which he ended doing later when we refused a free desert. Mistakes happen, but we did not feel like valued in any way. I will not go here again

I've eaten here before, but usually for lunch or dinner, and always had a good experience. For Mother's Day we had a party of 15 and was not the greatest experience. We were there pretty early so the restaurant was not full by any means. I understand that large parties on such a popular day can be challenging, but service was not great. Also, the food quality was not what I'd experienced in the past. Ultimately, we had a nice meal but could have been a much better experience. I'll be back but just not for brunch.

Service was very slow!. Sorry to say. Maybe because we were out in the patio off the bar. The Salmon with vegetables was pretty good. We were there Friday at 7:30 pm. I think in such a competitive environment they have to snap it up a bit.

Our servers were amazing. They went above and beyond with their service. The food is delicious and we cannot wait to go back

My experience at the Brio Italian Grille was amazing ! Our server was very attentive through our whole visit. The food was very delicious and felt authentic as well not like Olive Garden. This tasted like real Italian food !

Easter lunch with the family. It had been at least 5 years since I had been here. I remember many of the dishes were extremely salty last few times we had been here. Decided to give it another try and was pleasantly surprised overall. Carpaccio- 5/5 - Good flavor and balance with capers and geeens Bread 5/5 - nice and warm with a soft inside and crunchy outside Carbonara 4/5- Well cooked Al dente pasta with above average flavors Chicken Marsala - 2/5 dry chicken with lackluster sauce. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were also lacking flavor and very average Ambiance was nice. Loud table of several families with very young loud kids next to us but overall a pleasant time and experience.

The service was terrible. The food was average. There is a reason the place is empty at 8:00 o'clock Saturday night in Irvine Spectrum while all the other restaurants are packed.

Our service was not good. It felt like we were constantly asking for attention or for the server to come back to us. Everything was slow and not very friendly. Food wasn't that good enough to want to go back.

Amazing as always! Food was amazing, service was excellent, definitely will be coming back again soon. The steak and tiramisu is our absolute favorite!!!

Not nearly enough servers or help to sustain the amount of people dining on a Monday evening. I think the restaurant miscalculated spring break diners. Ordered the filet, it was not grilled as menu description and when I took a bite it had the old meat “off” taste and I had to send it back. Very disappointed for a 50 dollar meal, then had to wait for my dinner when my family finished theirs. Overall server rarely came by and a small percentage was discounted for the gross steak and the replacement. No manager came over to apologize. I don't think Brio will be able to hold their own when newer restaurants are taking over the spectrum. This place used to be very good and we enjoyed it very much but certainly has gone down hill. Won't be returning.
