Cafe Naderi, located near Wholesome choice, is the best Persian restaurant in the area. The ambiance is lovely, and the staff is always welcoming and hospitable. Whenever my friends from the US ask for a Persian restaurant, I always recommend Cafe Naderi. It’s a vibrant place that transports you back to the old days of Iran, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Highly recommended!

Good selection and variety of Persian food for a small restaurant, when they are busy expect a good amount of waiting time.

Café Naderi is a wonderful spot for authentic Persian cuisine in Orange County. The menu offers a great selection of traditional dishes, fresh kabobs, stews, and rice plates, prepared with care and full of flavor. Portions are generous, and the food feels like true comfort cooking. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it perfect for both casual meals and family gatherings. Service is friendly, and prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.

Everything offered here is pre-made, including cold Kaleh Pacheh and greasy omelets. Furthermore, they serve the Kaleh Pacheh on paper plates. To make matters worse, they request a tip as soon as you enter

The food here is good. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the rude and unwelcoming staff. From the moment we walked in, the attitude felt cold and dismissive. It’s a shame, because the kitchen is doing great work, but the front-of-house behavior made it hard to enjoy the meal.

I used to come to Café Naderi for their Persian food even though the quality was always pretty mediocre. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I ordered a tahchin and found a hair in the food. Instead of apologizing, the staff whispered to each other and acted dismissively. They were rude and refused to take responsibility at first, only suggesting a refund after much arguing. To make things worse, they served the food in paper dishes that night, which made the experience even more disappointing. Sadly, I won’t be returning after this.

Mahsa was extremely nice and the service was perfect. We came for kaleh pacheh and it made me feel like we’re back at home. Thank you so much great service!

The food itself is great. The menu we found a bit overwhelming but once you weed through it it's not so difficult to decide what sounds interesting. We ended up going with the dip sampler: the eggplant dishes were so interesting but I was fascinated by the chicken and potato salad mix. I wasn't expect that at all and it worked so well. And they were pretty plentiful for three separate dishes. We also grabbed the baghali polo & lamb, which ultimately was pretty fine. Good amount of meat but not so memorable.

Ultimately, however we found the wait time difficult. Despite them having a very normal amount of customers, we probably waited 50 minutes for either of the dishes to arrive. After it did, we weren't given the dishware/napkin setup that other tables had, which was also a bit of a bummer.
