We got our dinner BEFORE our drinks. When our server delivered our drinks he didn't even apologize or acknowledge how long we had to wait for our drinks. Then, after we were obviously finished with our dinner, he came by our table several times and asked how we were doing, but never offered to take our plates/bus the table. Lazy!

Swordfish was tasty but too dry. Needed to be cooked less or more sauce. Tacos were all delicious as usual.

Food was not good. I had the enchiladas trio. The beans were super hot as if over microwaved. The seafood enchiladas were rubbery and super fishy. Margaritas were overly sweet and sour defiantly not fresh squeezed more of a premade mix. We only saw the waiter once. The hostess was at the table more than he was. Very disappointed.

we had a small family birthday lunch on a saturday. food was delicious and the portions were huge. our server was wonderful - she was professional, friendly, and fast. she also brought a wonderful flan + macerated strawberries, even put a cute candle on it for our sister. bonus fun: from where we were sitting (towards the back), we could see the kitchen through a huge wrap around window. we can see how spotless the kitchen was, the chefs cleaning as they fired, the expo moving like the wind, none of the hands idle at any time, all the while they interacted with each other like friends. honestly, i've worked in f&b a lifetime ago and this kind of camaraderie isn't something that is common, especially in the back of the house. would've for the great food alone, but now will return believing the staff genuinely seemed like they enjoyed working there. minor note: someone must've left the back screen door open (?) but there were flies buzzing around which is a quick fix.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Chachas for several years, visiting about five to six times a month. I love their food and the fact that they offer a summer program where kids eat free from Sunday to Thursday.
Unfortunately, my last visit was quite disappointing. I visited with my 4 year old, just me and her, I order sopes and ceviche for myself and something for the kids menu for my daughter along with two lemonades. The server, Oscar, initially charged for my daughter’s meal despite the kids-eat-free program. When I pointed it out, he insisted on an entry fee, even though I had ordered items that were more expensive than the entry. It felt more about the principle than the money.
Additionally, wait time was longer than usual, our drinks arrived pretty much at the same time as the goods. Also, I had asked for a specific sauce for my daughter, and Oscar brought the wrong one and seemed annoyed when I requested the correct one.
It’s disheartening because I genuinely enjoy the food and the atmosphere, but this experience makes me reconsider if I should find a new favorite spot.

The food was ok. We had the chicken enchiladas and an assortment of tacos. Chips were unevenly salted, with some being extremely salty. The rest of the food was simply OK; it was pretty bland in our opinion. Service was amazing. However, we won't return. Not recommended.
Food used to be great here and maybe it was an off day but wow, stale tortillas chips even after they replaced it with fresh tortillas chips, tacos were bad, and the romaine salads were too wet and too flat!! Complete disappointment!!

Really enjoyed the service, food, and drinks. Our server was attentive and efficient, the food had great authentic flavor... the flan was the best restaurant flan we've ever had. We came on a Sunday, 12:30PM, and it was not super busy. We will be coming back to try out their dinner menu.
