So this is the closest you’ll get if you want an authentic korean style fried chicken. Very tasty. It is way better than all other korean chicken places nearby.

I don’t normally post reviews but man I’m actually disappointed at how this grand opening was done.
50% promotional discount for 3 days is great if you can actually get the chicken.
This is my second day of attempting to get chicken at 4PM and they’re already out of chicken.
Literally walked past a family who had 4 orders of chicken (2 full bags worth) as I was leaving Zion after being told they’re out of chicken.
They’re not putting a hard cap on how much chicken each person can order during this promotion, resulting in people ordering more than necessary and letting the rest of us who came late miss out on trying a product.
Most probably will not come back especially after reading the review below that it’s basically the same chicken place but just new ownership.

Tried this new fried chicken spot, but it turns out they just took over the location of the previous chicken shop and changed the name instead of creating a new listing. Probably because the old place had decent reviews, so they just kept the history instead of starting fresh.
Unfortunately, the food doesn’t live up to expectations. The chicken is overpriced—$22 for 10 tiny wings and drumettes. Not only are they small, but they’re also dry and lacking juiciness. Definitely not worth the price. The previous store has much larger piece, so does bbq chicken.
If you’re looking for great fried chicken, this is not the place. Feels like they’re relying on the previous shop’s reputation rather than earning their own.

Very crispy, very fresh chicken wings. We didn't mind the wait because she made fresh. She gave us extra sauce for scallion I bought separately from the Zion market which this place is located in.

Located in the food court of Zion Market off of Irvine Blvd. & Yale, Two Dak Two Dak has amazing fried chicken. I ordered the popcorn chicken and it was on point. The chicken was moist not dried and chewy like many places. And the batter coating the chicken is a light blanket. Good price point ($7.42) and the popcorn chicken is definitely a shareable. I will come back to this place for another great chicken experience.

There are a lot of expensive Korean fried chicken places these days, but the taste is not that great. However, the new "Two Dak Two Dak" fried chicken shop inside the Sion Market is fresh, cooks the chicken right away, and is really tasty. I've been to several places, but I think this is the best fried chicken shop in Irvine. I highly recommend it

The chicken was nice hot and fresh. It comes with some sweet potato fries and pickled radish as well. Just make sure to order when you start shopping and it will be ready in a few minutes since it is made to order.
Kid-friendliness: They were very nice and helpful.

Last weekend, I went grocery shopping at Zion Market, and saw that Two Dak Two Dak had opened at the Food Court. Since it was my first time trying it, I tried basic Fried Chicken. I guess the raw chicken was marinated properly so the chicken didn't have any bad smell. When I evaluate chicken, the most important things I consider are the crispy texture of fried chicken skin and the juicy meat inside. The chicken sold at Two Dak Two Dak meth both conditions. I was so satisfied with two dak two dak's fried chicken. I'll definitely come back to try seasoned chicken and green onion chicken soon. Highly recommended!!

They are closed! Relocated to other Irvine Zion location. Google simply refuses to validate this fact!

Order a whole fried chicken and black bean noodles. The noodles was good. Got 4 chicken wings, 3 drum sticks and 3 small pieces of what look like thighs. No chicken breast, is was a ripped off. Will never go back.

Better than bbq chicken IMO. Quality is there and the Ajooma that runs the place is always so friendly and nice, she hooks it up! ? A++

More than a Korean food market stall… I’ve been coming here since 2019, and the food quality & ownership has been consistent all this time. The portions are huge, so there’s always leftovers to take home. The 짬뽕 broth reminds me of home… makes me miss my mom’s cooking! That’s what you get here… great food at a reasonable cost, and enough portions to share. Thank you!
