Horrible experience. Tried to be nice and get a gift for my gf. She loves sushi. But you gave her like an appetizer size amount of sushi for almost $30. Wack.

Stopped by Crazy Rockin’ Sushi in Irvine for lunch. The atmosphere was somewhat somber, but the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the visit.
The sushi and roll prices are slightly higher than most spots in Orange County. While the presentation is visually appealing, the overall quality of the fish and rolls didn’t quite match the price point. The sushi was decent, but there are many nearby restaurants offering higher-quality fish and better value.
It’s a option if you’re in the area and enjoy a cool presentation, but if fish quality is your top priority, Orange County has plenty of stronger alternatives.

Wow! I was in town for a mtg and stopped by for lunch. The nigiri was absolutely top notch. Fresh and so flavorful. The rolls were huge and delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

My friend and I came here and got the crazy sushi fried oysters and a roll. The roll alone we found 2 pieces of bone. It looked like one of them may have been plastic or a piece of scale either way it ruined the roll. They thankfully took it away and didn't charge us. The rest of the sushi didn't taste fresh and tasted fishy. The snow crab roll that came with the crazy sushi was super dry and tasteless. Also way too much rice. Super disappointing place and not worth the price at all.

The good: the service was great, good deals on sushi, full alcohol list, lots of food options. Cute enough inside. Everyone was friendly. Sushi was tasty enough not mind blowing but good.
The not so good: the place itself could use a refresh and clean. I know most kitchens probably look the way this place did, but if you are going to show it, make it look clean, or hide it. There were also some fruit flies flying around.
All in all, I rounded up for good service and decent food. Not like anything went wrong but sometimes when you go out to eat, you want the place to look as clean as the plate you get.

I think this is a great casual sushi restaurant, and Monday-Wednesday premium sushi rolls are buy one get one half off! For two rolls it comes out to $29 before tax and tip. Can’t beat that. We usually get the Caliente Roll and the Alaska Roll. I’ve also been here during lunch with coworkers and they have a great lunch menu.
