I called here early Friday evening, to purchase a nice bottle of sake for my co worker who would be celebrating his 21st birthday there with his family. They never gave his family the bottle. When I called to get a refund, I spoke to the manager that sold me the bottle. She assured me that she’d been there all night and he hadn’t come in. She was over confident and very sure of herself so I thought maybe I made a mistake and I decided to wait until Sunday. Well, come to find out, my coworker did eat there with his family and even blew out a candle. I was lied to. I called back on Monday and spoke to the same smug manager and she refunded me. Nowhere was there a thank you for my purchase ($40) and there was never an apology for messing up the birthday surprise, In fact, she seemed irritated that I was even calling as if I was the one that messed up. I would’ve had no problems if she would’ve been polite, but since they messed up and then they were rude, I’m irritated. It’s a shame that this manager chose rudeness when it would have been so easy to be polite and maintain a good relationship with a family who are regular customers.

I had a very disappointing experience here today. A server asked us if we were ready to order just 30 seconds after we sat down, then served the wrong broth to the wrong person. When we needed more broth, the same server who took our order pointed at my hot pot and asked, “What broth is this?” I said “Doenjang” twice, but he still seemed not to understand. As the server who ordered it for me, is it so hard to know what it is? I don’t know if this server intentionally provided such unprofessional service, but I think it was both stupid and awful. We see no reason to visit this place again.
I had a very disappointing experience here today. The male server asked us if we were ready to order 30 seconds after we were seated, and then served the wrong broth to the wrong person. When we asked for more broth, the clerk who took our order pointed to my casserole and asked, “What kind of broth is this?” I said “soybean paste” twice, but he still didn’t seem to understand. Is it really that difficult for the person taking my order to know my broth? I don't know if this employee intentionally provided such unprofessional service, but I think it was really stupid and poor service. There is no reason to visit this store again.

This was absolutely the best hot pot place ever!!
I’ve just recently started eating at different hot pot places and they haven’t really hit the mark.
But what can I say about this place! The food, staff, entire vibe of this resto and area is amazing!
I got the bulgolgi broth and my wife got the spicy pork broth!
You can also mix, but the broths are tasty just as is too. They give you recommendations on what to try and mix together ie- cold soba noodles with broth and meat ??
Highly recommend the rib eye and top cut. There are a bunch of different sides and you can even get crab and shrimps too!
Wide variety of veggies and selection to make your dipping sauce.
All you can eat for 35$ each for great tasting food and ambiance- 100% worth it and definitely coming back

Great food. Veggie bar could be a bit expanded more.
Their meat boxes are great. Chicken Karage looks like sad nuggets. You don't share pots half and half here. Broths not bad. No sukiyaki but closest would be their bulgolgi broth.
Parking is okay.

Food and price are good staffs really very nice polite❤️The only thing is not what people like is they do not offer any kind of fresh fruits or even jello and only water is free of charge unlike All that Shabu in Irvine they offer Ice cream and soda fountain and ice tea come with the shabu. But the location is nice have children playground in front.

Incredible service and staff. Food is fresh and amazing. Prices are a bit high, but understandable. Unfortunately the restaurant is too loud and often too cold for me to regularly visit this place. Still very great for ocassions.

I love it so much. It's friendly, delicious, and the wait is long, so it's hard, but I'll definitely go there if I go to Irvine.
It was a spontaneous dinner idea that we didn’t regret about!
The only suggestion I would give is to distribute aprons to guests, especially those ones who dressed in light color clothes. I was wearing white top and white jeans and ordered Mala Soup base, needless to say that I left this place with splash stains all over, that didn’t wash off.

Came here during off-peak meal hours on a Saturday (4pm) with a group of 5 and we were really happy with our experience! The store was quite empty and we were seated at a long table by the front of the restaurant. By the time we left at 6pm, there were plenty of customers. They played holiday music at first and then turned to Drake lol. My only complaint was that the temperature was cold; A/C was blasting. I eventually warmed up with my soup.
The self-service sauce and topping bars were exceptionally clean. I'm thinking of Shabuya which I've never seen this clean.
The meats and broths came out quick. It wasn't hard to flag down a server.
I got the mala pork base. It's not that tingly nor spicy, so I wouldn't worry if you have reservations about it. However some of my cousins got the spicy pork and I found it spicier than the mala pork base.
We got one of every meat. The lamb flavor is strong if you're worried about that. I wouldn't recommend the pork belly since the fat ratio is high. I also wouldn't recommend it for the hot food section either. The prime chuck and other beef cuts were good though!
The karaage was cripsy and seasoned well.
The stackers were interesting. Not only do they look pretty, but I haven't seen many other shabu places offer this. Good for quick eating since they're already cooked.
The end of the meal was cool; we got porridge and luckily we asked the server how to do this. Your broth becomes a congee! It was delicious but we were so full lol.
Overall I recommend coming here for its quick service, customization in terms of sauce and toppings, selections of meats, and its cleanliness.

Starting off Food was not good ok selection food was not fresh I got sick from eating the octopus I have eaten it many times I fully cooked but after never had such a bad stomach pain after. Then workers were rude except one older guy there working as server. other’s servers gave rude looks and looked at us dirty when we sat down honestly there’s so much better competition in Irvine especially why come here do not recommend coming here

Loved the fresh food to shabu-shabu! I’m on a vegan trial and it was quite a fibrous meal! My microbiome are satisfied more than me even. Thanks for the friendly service and hospitable vibes. Worth coming back to again

Orange County, I've got D place for you ;) This is dPot in Irvine where they've got all-you-can-eat shabu, insane-looking meat stackers, bossam, soba noodles, and even other things we didn't get a chance to try!You know those shabu places where the soup bases are honestly kind of mid and you need the sauces to come in clutch? Nah, not at dPot. A total of 9 soup bases to choose from and each is PACKED with unique flavor. There's even a new bulgogi one that tastes EXACTLY like the marinated meat, like how did they freakin' nail it?? And a Korean spicy rice cake base that was my favorite. If that wasn't flavortown enough for ya, don't worry, their DIY sauce bar's got ya.And I had to try a little hack recommended by the staff, wrap the meat from the stackers around the soba noodles and you've got yourself the perfect bite of savory and refreshing~And did I mention all of this was unlimited??? We definitely left with very happy bellies ^_^Thanks for reading! ^-^
