Nice comfortable stay for business trip or in passing through to another location. Property smelled nice and felt very nice, clean, strong AC throughout. The room was well designed and very comfortable for our family of 3 staying in a King with sofa pull out. Very nice touch that the kitchen faucet was filtered water. The only downside if there is one is that the lobby area was a bit small for the breakfast area but it was fine during the week, I would imagine it could be a bit crammed on a busy weekend. Breakfast was adequate and a nice change from the typical free breakfast by offering made to order eggs and one sweet item (crepes). I would consider staying again if I was in the area.
Arrived at 5.30 pm and was advised a room was not ready for us which was weird and annoying as check in is earlier than this. Had to wait for room to be ready though only about 10 mins. We were given a disability room that we did not request and were not advised of this until we entered room. Wasn’t vastly different except had a heavy wooden seat in bath which we had to struggle to lift out. Room also had a view of carpark so kept blinds down. First property we stayed in with electric blinds which took a while to figure out. A sign may have been useful. Could hear all other guests in hallways talking and rooms adjacent so not very soundproof. Pool small but nice. No jacuzzi. Breakfast good. Apparently guests are allowed a welcome complimentary drink but no one offered us that. Parking at $25 US in a corporate HQ area crazy and carpark was empty. We parked right outside the entrance on the street for free.
My wife and I stayed in this hotel 2 times so far. Great hotel with great amenities. Friendly staff, great complimentary breakfast, nice gym and pool and close to everything in Orange County. It was our 9 year anniversary and Rosdelia upgraded our room for no extra charge. Thank you so much Rosdelia! The hotel has very friendly staff. This hotel will be our spot to stay in OC from now on!
From the moment I walked in the door, I knew this would be my new home-away-from-home when traveling to the Irvine area. The staff is friendly and quick to respond, free breakfast is fresh with lots of variety, and the rooms are bright and spacious. I don't always take full advantage of the kitchen, but I did this time and it was perfect. Even the pool on the upper deck was a great place to rest with a glass of wine after work. I can't say enough about the Element in Irvine. I will be back!
My stay at Element Irvine exceeded expectations. The hotel's modern design, friendly staff, and proximity to John Wayne Airport impressed me. I was also rewarded as a Marriott Bonvoy member. The outstanding bar featured talented mixologists who crafted true masterpieces. The attention to detail and unique garnishes set the bar apart. The complimentary breakfast surprised me with the inclusion of Greek yogurt—a refreshing and protein-packed option that paired perfectly with fresh fruits and toppings. The hotel's location near the airport was a significant advantage. Sometimes airport areas are noisy but not this Element. The comfortable guest rooms were tastefully decorated, offering a tranquil, yet utilitarian atmosphere. Element Irvine's commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices resonated with my values. Above all, the staff went above and beyond, displaying genuine warmth and dedication to exceptional service. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, every interaction was met with attentiveness and a desire to create a memorable experience. I was also reminded of my Elite Bonvoy status at appropriate times. In conclusion, Element Irvine provided an outstanding stay with its remarkable bar, delightful breakfast, and unbeatable proximity to the airport. I highly recommend it for its exceptional service and attention to detail, especially for Marriott Bonvoy members.
Gorgeous new hotel with very large guestrooms that include all the necessary kitchen amenities...fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, utensils, etc. I cooked one meal and prepared a frozen meal from the pantry in the lobby during my stay. First experience with the Element brand, and it is fantastic. Can't say enough good things about the breakfast...healthy, tasty options with a cooked to order menu that is all free. Hotel has a full bar with some hot food options in the evening which was very convenient. You can see the substainability efforts everywhere...recycling, bikes for guests to use, purified water from the tap in your room. Accommodations are top-notch, but they don't hold a candle to this staff! Every single team member was smiling, open to chatting about the hotel and the surrounding area, and was prompt to offer help and suggestions throughout my stay. Aneta, Stephanie, Nomi and Ivan left lasting impressions with their service attitude and helpful nature. Looking forward to my next visit with them.
A brand new, modern, clean hotel with breakfast included. Rooms have microwaves and fridges. Keep in mind that the neighborhood is a business park, so it's a bit of a lifeless area and any restaurants or shopping will have to be accessed by driving. There is a bar in the lobby but seems it's only open on weekday evenings. It has good handy access to freeways 55 and 405 and is close to SNA airport. Parking is quite expensive and seems a bit high with no variation in price weekday or weekend. The breakfast is pretty good and there is an area where someone can make you fresh pancakes or eggs (although on one of the days that area was closed without explanation). The room doors close quite loudly and I was awakened early every morning of my stay by loud door closing that echoed down the hallway. But overall... if you need to be the area, this is a new, modern, friendly and clean option.
Overall great stay @ Element Irvine. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The hotel staff has been friendly and helpful. However, someone should talk to the morning cook about providing unbiased service to all guest. Upon arrival we asked for 3 fried eggs and he says can only make 2 and direct us to the steam eggs. We read and understand the there was a sign that says no omelette service but no sign indicating maximum amount of eggs per order/guest. (Policy/rule) no biggie. Secondly; I ordered another item and said thank you! Few moments later, the cook replies say please in front of the entire lobby. I do not understand why I need to beg for eggs in the morning if I’m a guest and it is your job. There were clearly other guest who didn’t say “please” and there was no hassle. I was polite to begin with but it was totally uncalled for. I used to work in the hospitality industry and understand what staff is going through on a daily basis but there is no need to make me feel discouraged. Furthermore, a guest came down and order 3 fried eggs and he received it accordingly without any questions. I rate this hotel a 5 stars but someone should talk to the cook so all guest receive the same level of hospitality during the stay and prevent any other mishaps in the future.
Road warriors beware. Physically an Element but not in spirit. Paper thin walls have me writing this review in the middle of the night rather than sleeping. Buggy new construction, such as hot and cold confusingly upside down in the shower. Ignored my loyalty profile information. Odd location reduces convenience.
A new Element property in Irvine. It worked well enough for us for a few months. Here's what we put in the thank you card with an extra tip and chocolates. "To the wonderful Element Irvine Staff, Thanks for all you have done so far to help us feel comfortable during our stay and to bring us calm during this difficult housing transition period! We’ll be out of town for a few days, and then back again for a bit before we check out. Please accept this small gift as a token of our gratitude for all you’ve done to make us feel at home here during our stay. All of the staff, especially Stephanie, Liliana, and José, were very helpful and really made this hotel feel like a home away from home. We especially appreciated: - Stephanie’s amazing patience and focus to help us find the right room for our long stay and then again to try to find a new room, - The front desk staff’s attention to detail in helping manage our packages and love for Max (especially Nomi and Landon), - The housekeeping staff’s helpfulness in providing paper products and taking our trash, even helping us find an important item when we accidentally tossed it (especially José and Liliana), and - The breakfast cook’s (sorry we didn’t catch his name!) cheerful help and saying hi to Max, even when breakfast was chaotic, especially on the weekends! Take good care everyone and thanks again for everything, and we’ll see you when we get back from our trip later this week!"

Such a great find! Amazing staff, gorgeous rooms and great breakfast! Plus dog friendly! Will certainly be back for business and pleasure! Also free parking! We were so surprised at the quality of this hotel. Fantastic value and thoroughly recommended!
Nice hotel bar with still limited snacks and a small, rotating wine and beer list.
Have had mostly positive experiences with the Element brand and decided to try this spot. Really enjoyed our stay. Pluses: It's a new(ish) hotel and everything was well maintained and clean. Rooms were very clean. We were only there for one night, but it has the feel of an extended stay place for business travelers, with a cooktop, fridge, plates, silverware, etc. It is quite close distance wise from the Santa Ana airport and I didn't quite notice HOW close until after I booked the spot, but plane noise was minimal - I'm a pretty light sleeper and I couldn't hear anything disruptive. Clean, not-spooky, well lit parking area. Friendly employees, from front desk to kitchen staff to the handsome bartender. There really isn't a minus at all, and as casual travelers we'll almost definitely stay again, but I would say that overall, this may hold more appeal for business travelers. This isn't a location where there's a cafe or food place within walking distance, and this section of Irvine is very corporate. I saw a few business meetings happening, and it's probably a great hotel to stay in if you have an early flight out of SNA the following morning.
