I've been here quite a few times and the food is always good! Take-out is a bit iffy though. They've missed items more than once (welcome to Irvine!). But this latest time they actually refunded the "forgotten" item promised yay!

We loved visiting our son’s new home in open, clean, and quiet Irvine, where there’re so many wonderful food choices. On this occasion, he’d picked up takeout from this fish specialty restaurant on his way home from work. The classic fish and chips with fries did not disappoint: the cod was moist and flaky. The salmon kale bowl was splendid as well: the fish was nicely grilled; the lemon-honey marinated kale was flavorful; I only wish there were more ginger teriyaki sauce to accompany the dry quinoa. The fish tacos and sweet potato fries looked yummy. The standout was the tuna melt: beautifully grilled brioche enveloping a generously-portioned, tasty tuna salad, cheese and celery combo that gave a superb mouthfeel.

Do yourself a favor and grab lunch here! The poke was SO FRESH and the fish and chips and calamari were to die for! Amazing service, awesome staff, great vibe.

Had the fish and chips platter. Not only was the fish fresh, but the quality AND quantity were surprisingly substantial?. Had one of their natural drinks and was instantly hooked. Speaking of drinks, I had a sample of their red ale draft beer afterward...omg! I'm for sure coming back, but I will make sure I get a full mug ? while I wait for my food...in that order ? ? ?

I went here recently with a friend.He ordered the Classic Fish and Chips while I ordered the Combo box (which was fish and shrimp + fries).In hindsight, I would have ordered the classic fish and chips. That seemed like the better value. My friend got 3 pieces of fish and the fries.My combo box included one piece of fish, 3 shrimp, and fries.Fries were good and crispy.The shrimp tasted fine.. and the batter ways ok. The shrimp was crispy.Finally the fish was okay. The batter was okay. It was crispy.Tastewise, both shrimp and fish were just okay.Would I go here again?... it's hard to say. fries and fish for $13.50 or more???I think I might pass.

Parking: Plenty of parking & very accessible! We look forward to our order & unfortunate situation being corrected, so we may finally receive our dinners correctly.

Great lunch food! The fish and chips were perfectly cooked and had delicious flavor! First time I tried Portabella chips and I was impressed by the amazing flavor and texture which is why I highly recommend it!

Tried the Fish Combo.. WoW! Everything was fried to perfection.. Fish, Shrimps and the Fries.The only draw back.. I wish there were 2 fish sticks rather than 1 for the higher price.I would not order the combo for the price vs food portion.

Food here is awesome the manager is cool peeps but the new guy has very poor customer service. I drive 20 miles out of my way for a poke bowl and he says he doesn’t know how to add an extra scoop. So I told him to charge me for something that is the same price of the extra scoop and he has the nerve to tell me he’s not going to accommodate me. I’m paying you he says he’s not going to give me what I want that the customer is wrong. They really need to learn how to speak to their customers because customers are always right ?

Poke bowl is really good here. Yuzu sauce very tasty. Ahi Tuna was ok. Mahi wrap not good.

Five stars is definitely the only rating I can provide this place. I do not even know where to begin. First off the food is absolutely delicious. That is probably what people are most concerned about. But the staff and the people that work here I think is even better. It is amazing to see such kind people. I love this place

Food is solid! Claim chowder is good, there's a good ratio of ingredients to broth. Fish & chips and calamari are equally good however not for takeout. It got too soggy for my taste.I tried their Caper sauce it's ok, I prefer tarter sauce. All in all I definitely recommend this establishment.

This review is for the poke bowls only. I got a half tuna half salmon with spicy sauce. The fish was barely drenched in the sauce so I asked for more.Cashier said it cost almost a dollar for extra sauce.Pretty ridiculous policy given there's barely any sauce in the poki. The fish was mediocre. There's only cucumber and seaweed salad in it. I paid a 1.25 for avocado and I got four slices lol.Save your money and get poki somewhere else.
