Came here all the time for the Egg Toast, the hashbrown was delicious. They changed the sandwiches completely, going away from the Korean Egg Toast style sandwich and going for a more hoagie vibe. Overall, the change to the sandwiches are so much of a downgrade i probably won’t be back. The new bowls they have might be good

I feel like this place is trying to be a kstyle subway with the new bread choice they've chosen. Im not a huge fan since the original Flippoly sandwiches (at least the one at Buena Park) were famous for their thick toast bread. The meat is also very salty and heavily marinated, with only one piece of cheese to make up for the mozzerella part. While the price is cheap I don't feel particularly full after this lunch.

I think this place is ok and just ok. Food is mediocre, the star of the show were the cheese balls. All other items were sub par. Would recommend a try for certain items. Personally not a fan.

I ordered food with my friends at the same time (we only have three people) and there is nobody else in the store. They give me friend food at the reasonably amount of time but mine took like 20 minutes. I got my food when my friends have finished eating it. It’s ridiculous. I am pretty sure they just forget to cook mine but the store refused to admit it .Will never ever come here, they are just trying to rip off UCI students

Flippoly's menu changed a few months back. The bread used to be thick, buttery brioche-like bread and I loved that it was an elevated version of Issac Toast that's worth $10. But now it is thin white bread. I was excited to hear that they brought the Korean style toast back, but the new version is shameful. The other components of the sandwich are mostly better compared to before; it is now more similar to a Korean street-style toast sandwich. I couldn't tell if it had jam on it, though, which is typical for these sandwiches. I wouldn't pay this much for the sandwich as it is now much smaller. I would rather pay $1~2 more to get the Korean style toast they had before.

The quality of sandwich is nothing compared to what it used to be. A few months ago it was the best egg sandwich option in southern California. Now, it is not even an option. The bread is changed to a cheap toast bread that you can get at any grocery store. The quantity of food is half of what you used to get. The sauce is so sweet that does not taste good and the cabbage is not going well with rest of the ingredients. So sorry to see this big change. We used to go here a lot. Will never go back.

I really love Flippoly sandwiches. The egg sandwich style from last time was delicious, but the new Korean street food style sandwich with cabbage is even better. It's crunchier, has a great texture, and feels healthier, so I could eat it every day. My kids say they could eat rosé tteokbokki and noodles every day too?.
Personally, I highly recommend the kimchi fried rice and green grape juice!??

Was bummed that there location closer to us closed so we ordered to-go from this location. We walked in and there are some seats inside but the space is not large. Right next to the front counter is a large single ordering stand where you order using the screen. They take ApplePay which was convenient. We ordered for take out. Walked around the plaza while we waited- probably took 10-15 min. Family ordered angus sandwich (minus cabbage and added sausage), bacon and cheese sandwich, ham sandwich, side of bulgogi, and k-style ttokbokki. I had 1/2 of the ham sandwich which was perfect- not too salty and the cabbage was crunchy (not soggy) and the sauce was slightly sweet but not overpowering. K-style tokkbokki was spicy! There wasn’t a lot of sauce and not sure if that’s because we got it to go and it took us 20 min to get home with it. However, the ttokk was soft and chewy (not hard) so was a good consistency.

Holy moly these egg sandwiches were like meeting god. Absolutely out of body. You NEED to try them. Get the mozzarella and add double bacon if you’re obese and enthusiastic like myself.

Thank you for the food!!

I came here to eat Flip Polly Tteokbokki, which my kids love so much, and then tried the new sandwich, which was really delicious. The refreshing sauce and crunchy cabbage go well together!! The previous sandwich was delicious, but this one was just the right amount of food and healthy, so I think I'll be eating it more often! May you prosper!!?

It tastes good but way too simple for the price. If I wanted a simple sandwich I would’ve just made it at home. (My boyfriend wasn’t even full after eating one because they’re small) I’ll be missing the old sandwiches that were definitely more unique, had more egg and more sauce. I believe the one in Buena Park still has the regular ones so I’ll be driving there instead ??

The sandwiches we got looked nothing like the pictures or what we used to order a few months ago. The bread was super thin and burnt, very dry barely any sauce, the eggs were chewy, the cheese used was just sliced cheese, and now coleslaw is added?? Not sure what happened to this place but definitely not ordering again.
