The soul food lacks soul. I think they should consult with people who are well versed in preparing these sort of dishes so that they understand how friends catfish, candied yams, and baked macaroni should taste. I'll help with one thing: candied yams need cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla extra, nutmeg, butter, salt, and a little orange juice, maple syrup and possibly ginger.
We stopped for lunch on a Saturday, and it was past 1 pm. There was a plenty of patio and indoor seating. We ordered our food, and we were served our food within ten minutes. Mine was a blackened fish with a side of black-eyed peas and collard greens. We each got cornbread as well. Everything tasted good, and I would definitely go back there to try other dishes when I am in the area.

Was hoping this place would be good but was extremely disappointed. My wife got the flat iron steak plate and I got the tri tip plate. The serving size of the steak must've been 6oz and the tri tip serving size must've been 4oz. The fact that this restaurant is charging mid $20's & high $20's for small portions is ridiculous. Will never go here again. Instead I will go to the Wood Ranch where I know you get your money's worth.

So grateful for soul food in this area. I got fried green tomatoes…Delish! My parents got the ribs and enjoyed them immensely. We had relatives going back multiple times for the black-eyed peas during our visit. Happy for Georgia’s!

Disclaimer—I was just looking for a place to work while my daughter shopped and wasn’t too hungry so I just ordered a kids fried shrimp with Cajun fries. The food was average and the white wine wasn’t good but the Pinot Noir was drinkable. The staff was really sweet and I give them a 5 star rating⭐️

All the proteins were burnt, and everything was violently salty.
Hate to throw away food but the entrees were inedible.
Cornbread and sweet potato pie were alright.

What an amazing blend of TRUE soul food and California fast casual. Every bite was Michelin quality. Balanced and complex flavors without being overbearing. Outstanding friendly staff that was very attentive. Beautiful atmosphere. We had shrimp and grits, fried catfish greens, reb beans and rice. Congrats Georgia's! You've exceed my expects expectations.

Walk in and greeted warmly. We both had fired chicken with the greens yams mac&cheese all good cabbage was a little to spicy hot. Chicken was pretty good it's not crust with chicken but good old fashion fried chicken. Portions were pretty good in size. Will come back ? Yes .

We went on a Friday Afternoon with few people inside. Service is great, we got drinks refill on time. My kids like the cornbread and butter. I like the cajun rice and fish. They could improve on the shrimp, the person who had the meal said it was hard/chewy but he liked the cajun rice too. We ordered 2 mac and cheese one was ok, and one was too peppery. Maybe for adults that is ok.

Service was great but the food itself really leaves something to be desired. The fried catfish was very bland and had no spicy kick to it whatsoever, the sweet potatoes barely tasted sweet with hardly anything that complimented them or made the flavor stand out (like cinnamon or lemon) and were not syrup-y, and the macaroni and cheese tasted greasy and the cheese had no pull or flavor, as if there was not enough in it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that has a craving for good soul food or southern style dishes.

I had really high hopes for this restaurant but was ultimately disappointed. You can tell that the food is not fresh and was likely frozen. This is definitely far from authentic. My girlfriend and I also noticed a foul stench from her water glass. After checking, this was an issue with all the glasses at the table. We are not sure if it was from the water itself or just the cup, regardless, it was not pleasant. However, the workers are very nice and seem like they do care. Be wary when visiting this restaurant and do not expect authentic food.

Great food with a southern flare. We got the chicken and waffles and the chicken jambalaya. Service was great with attentive staff and management. Really great vibe as well, the outdoor seating is hard to beat!
