3.9/5 on this first trip here. Service is good. Place is nice and clean. Plenty of options on the menu. Red beans and rice were most flavorful. The beans were a little undercooked and it could use a little more spice. The Mac and cheese was decent. It could use a little seasoning. The corn bread was good. The smothered pork chops were bland. The meat and gravy definitely needed seasoning. The fried catfish was cooked to perfection! It needed a little seasoning but with some hot sauce and tartar sauce it was delicious. The potato salad was good too. It just needed a little less celery. The pink lemonade was delicious. Overall this is definitely a place we’ll be visiting again. Nothing was too bad that would keep us away. Will definitely order something different to try next time.

Georgia Restaurant at Irvine Spectrum is a great spot! I went for brunch hoping to try the egg fry, but only the lunch menu was available.
The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and came in large portions. You pay when ordering, and the service was excellent. Coffee refills are unlimited, which was a nice bonus, so I happily added extra tips. Highly recommend this place!”

Such an amazing experience at Georgia’s. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. The customer service is always amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful, they always are attentive. But the best, the absolute best part is the cooking. The food is always phenomenal when chef Luz is there. She always cooks with her heart and soul and you can taste the difference!

Good food and service. A lot of the issues I have with some soul food places weren't present here. My main complaint is the spoon to cup of soup ratio. The spoon being so big compared to the bowl made it hard to eat. You get free cornbread with your meal which was tasty. My partner and I shared the fried pickles and garlic fries. He had a cup of gumbo and a side of mac and cheese. Both were pretty good and the mac and cheese tasted more homemade than other restaurants'. I had the blackened chicken soup. Very delicious. I just wished it was seasoned a little more. The sweet tea also paired well with everything. In total and after tip it was about $48. My only real complaint (other than the spoon thing) is that the presentation does nothing for the food. It looks like cafeteria food. Originally I didn't want to go due to that reason. I'm glad the food and service proved me wrong. I will be back.

Food is Horrible, not authentic soul food or close to it ! I had smothered chicken the chicken had the taste of being out of a freezer , the greens were not fully cooked and had a after taste like when they are not cleaned properly, the beans were still hard on the red beans and rice, I don’t think the shrimp was real maybe it was impossible shrimp.. lol… Mac and cheese wasn’t good but the catfish was decent! The staff were very pleasant!

I made the mistake of ordering a chicken salad at a soul food place so don't make the same mistake as me! Total came to $20 including tip and it was very basic and tiny for the price. It was literally a half breast of a grilled chicken, I would guess like 2 whole romaine leaves chopped up, blue cheese crumbles, and cherry tomatoes. Tasted okay. The saving grace was the cornbread it came with that was tasty and sweet. I was thinking I could've gotten a better salad for the same price at a nicer establishment like Paul Martins.
The customer service was good. She was nice and offered water. The restaurant itself is cute with nice ambience and outdoor seating.

Overall was very good. I love chicken and waffles and it was good to have a place nearby. The chicken was very good, you have the option for either white meat or dark meat. The service was good. The atmosphere was fine, the only downside being that we had a party of five and there weren’t a lot of tables that could fit us. It wasn’t too much of an issue because we just grabbed a chair from another table. 4.5/5
