I always come here for the same thing: strawberry marble. It's consistently consistent in flavor and I appreciate that. It's reliable and will not disappoint my cravings. Currently the plaza is under reno so it may look like it's closed but it's not! You order on the kiosk and your drink will be out shortly.

Slowest service in the world..... we were the only ones here and it took 20 minutes to get our 2 drinks, they were literally just standing around. After another 20 minutes waiting for the waffle, it wasn't even done we had to cancel the waffle order and leave. The told me it was made to order and their waffle takes a while to make...but I mean who doesn't have their waffles made to order but most places doesn't need an hour to make it. If they were busy, fine, but we were the only ones in there for awhile! Some people came and went and we were still waiting. Will NEVER come back to this location.

Gong cha used to be okay, but it's really gone downhill. Service was monotone & not welcoming. The place was pretty clean, but the decorations above the bar were very dusty & i was worried some of it was going to get in my drink. I ordered the lychee oolong & it tasted synthetic. I couldn't even finish it. boba was small & had a mushy texture. waste of money. never coming here again

:( love their strawberry boba but inflation hit them hard!! i cant go there anymore because i cant afford how pricey their drinks are!!

My drink was suuuper good, my only problem is the straw. They have these cheap made straws that don’t really poke the hole in the top too good. Took me 4 tries and on one of the tries my car was splashed from the drink because I kept trying to do it. Other than that drink is pretty good, price is reasonable for boba. But I’m not gonna come back, the straw really killed the experience

Another new boba tea place that I recently tried. Quite delicious. They brew the tea fresh. We ordered the oolong tea and crème brûlée strawberry latte. Both were with milk foam. Quite tasty. I love how they source their tea from Taiwan . The milk foams creamy and savory texture is whipped perfectly and balanced well with their tea definitely coming back here soon!

I have come to this establishment various occasions and a few times there have been missing ingredients or mistakes with my order. Unfortunately, upon letting the employees know regarding their errors they have always offered the bare minimum without taking full accountability for the wrong orders. Their establishment wants to milk you of every single cent and will not in any way want to make their customers happy. The people who run this business are incredibly cheap and do not care for customer loyalty and satisfaction!

Gong Cha makes my favorite strawberry milk tea. It has real strawberry bits in it, which can be hard to come across. Good blend of flavor. Boba pearls are always nice and chewyLove how you can adjust ice level and sweetness. I recommend 25% ice for the hot SoCal sun and 30% if you don't like things too sweet. I've also tried their Taro Milk Tea and QQ Passionfruit Tea, both also good. Nothing tastes powdery here. Store is pretty small, it can get backed up on the weekends. Recommend going here on random weekday afternoons and nights instead. Workers are usually nice and happy to answer questions about the menu.

It's what you would expect from a chain store. They seem to use syrups. There's other boba shops in Irvine that serve better tea for a better price.

In a shopping center that also has an Orobae and an Omomo across the street, competition for the best boba tea shop is tough. Gong Cha wins for me as being a Taiwanese chain helps bring it closer to the original taste of Taiwan Bubble Tea. Plus, you’ll never have to wait in incredibly long lines compared to Orobae or Omomo as the service is incredibly evening during peak hours.

There's a reason the lines at Orobae and Omomo are so long even though there's a Gong Cha just a few minutes' walk away in the same plaza. This place is a nice option if you're in a hurry or don't want to wait in line for so long, but I've had better quality Gong Cha elsewhere.
