I’ve been coming to the Grater Grilled Cheese in Irvine for about two years now (probably close to 20 visits!), and it never disappoints. The grilled cheese is always perfectly crispy and gooey, and the carne asada fries are seriously addictive. I can’t go without ordering them every time. The staff is always friendly, the food comes out hot and fresh, and the quality has stayed consistently great. One of my go-to comfort food spots in Orange County!

Grater offers their superb grilled cheese with a variety of meats. On this occasion we tried the Philly steak and Nashville chicken, along with parmesan fried. Beef was done well with peppers and the Nashville chicken on the spicy side. Definitely a great place for lunch and even dinner.

I just went in for the first time and the staff was sooo helpful! Big shout out to Chris & Euler (sorry if I spelt your name wrong my hearing sucks) the food was really good and the workers were even better :)
We ordered ahead via the website. Employee was very friendly and the food was ready earlier than scheduled which was nice. Our kids loved the Mac n cheese.
