This was my first time dining at GUI BBQ in Irvine, and I was pleasantly surprised. Even on a Saturday, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated, which was a great start. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table right away.

The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed—perfect for catching up with friends over a great meal. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food justifies it. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection.

Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times, but that’s understandable given how busy they were. The staff wasn’t overbearing, which I appreciated, and they still made sure we had what we needed.

Overall, GUI BBQ is a hidden gem in Irvine. Delicious food, a great vibe, and a solid spot for a night out.

This place is probably one of the few places in Irvine providing BBQ skewers. I usually visit this place at night with friends. We really enjoyed the great food and drinks, it is not the best but overall is good and authentic with a lot of variety. The price is relatively fair considering the location of the restaurant. There are not many waiters and waitresses so they are pretty busy but they are helpful.

I highly recommended my friend to taste this restaurant, but unfortunately I was wrong! We found a hair in our chicken skin, and the cucumber salad appetizer we ordered only had the chopped cucumber without any seasoning, like garlic! Zero star!!! So bad experience!
