They draw you in the first time by giving you generous portions, but the more you go, the more the portions shrink. Instead of valuing loyal, repeat customers, they do the opposite. Eventually, it got so disappointing that I had to leave a negative review and find a new sushi bar. Don’t let that first visit fool you.

Gurume has become a place we go to at least once a week, especially for lunch. Their lunch specials are a great deal, and most importantly, their food is very good. High quality at a great price. They are very accommodating for my son’s diet. Staff and service are always wonderful.

I don't know why people are praising about this place. I ordered omakase sashimi. OMG, the sashimi was way too thick, I mean they cut the fish like rectangular chocolate bar. I've been to authentic Japanese restaurants for over 25 years but trust me that's not how you slice your sashimi. I don't think they age the fish because there was no umami taste. I also ordered the seafood nabe udong, worst udong I've ever had. The sushi men need to learn more about the basics or lower your price. This place is not worth the money. If you are a person who calls the 'california roll' a sushi, well you will like this place.
