This place is my favorite Taiwanese restaurant!!!! I live far away and drive here all the time just to eat their stinky tofu, the satay beef, and the clay pot. Oooooooh. The quality of the food is great and I don't understand how there are any bad reviews

I live in San Diego and we were in Costa Mesa for Memorial Day weekend. We discovered Han on day 1 and went back 3 times. Not even kidding. The stinky tofu is amazing, as is the eggplant with garlic sauce, chow mein, hot pot, beef noodle soup, everything we tried was fantastic (but really, it was all about the stinky tofu, which we can't really get in SD!). The service was consistently excellent too--on Memorial Day, for example, we showed up at the restaurant on our way back to San Diego and Google had mistakenly showed the restaurant being open (they close during the afternoon to prepare for dinner). They literally reopened the kitchen for us. Couldn't be more pleased with this place, and my family--which includes a vegetarian, a vegan, and two meat eaters--is impossible to please yet we all friggin' loved this place. Will be back for sure, as soon as possible! I already miss the stinky tofu!!!

Excellent customer service and great food! My partner and I brought our dog and dined outdoors- the service was quick (and safe), food was very generously portioned, and the cashier/waitress also gave us a water bowl for our pup!! Such a nice surprise. We've been long-time fans of this little restaurant and how the food always transports us back with authentic Taiwan tastes (and drinks!) We can't wait to go back here again!

Not as Taiwanese as one would think. Food is average, service is great and friendly. Medium-Large portion. Ordered taiwan oyster pancake, it's not quite there. Taiwan squash w crab sauce. The squash was very bitter, need better produce selection. Spicy pork intestine is the best one of all, sauce a little too thick, also not like traditional with fire at bottom to keep warm. Waited quite a bit for food, they had lots pickup. Did give us some free boiled peanuts, appreciated. We drove from San Diego, a little let down. Though it's just a meal, but likely not return again. 3 star a little generous solely on hood service.

We went here spontaneously after craving some savory snacks, and they definitely had those. We ordered takeout and waited only 15 minutes for some satisfying Taiwanese eats. Oyster omelette: super soft and delicate, had a decent amount of oysters and greens Popcorn chicken: mostly small pieces, but they were crispy and came with lovely fried herbs Pan-fried dumplings: juicy and meaty, went well with the assortment of sauces we got Find this corner restaurant in the same plaza as Flame Broiler and Kebab Shop. We had no problem finding parking that Sunday afternoon.

Food and service was excellent. I had the shrimp fried rice, paired with the oyster omelet was simply delicious. Stinky tofu was not as stinky as i would like it but the tiawanese lettuce with garlic and green onion pancake did not disappoint. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Good taste and I should have left good review. However I saw a big worm in the vegetables. It completely ruined my lunch.

Since COVID ordered take out twice from here and both times the food was cold. For a better understanding, my food wasn't sitting there waiting for me to pick it up. I waited both times for my order to be done. The first time I ate at the available tables outside. My rice was literally cold to the touch. I went in and ask for them for a new order. I was told it's cold because the back door is left opened due to COVID. Isn't rice kept hot in rice cookers? The second time, I brought my food home (5 minutes away). The same thing happened. Cold rice and lukewarm entrée. We're all trying to make some money while saving but turning off your burners and heaters is a bit extreme especially if you're a restaurant.
