It’s my first time at this place, and the atmosphere is terrible. When I walked in, they saw me but rudely turned away. It made me feel really uncomfortable. I ordered takeout, and when I asked the waitress in glasses a question, her facial expression looked like she was about to throw up. I will never come back here again — this was just awful.

Located in the same strip mall as Left Coast Brewing near the corner of Irvine Center Drive and Sand Canyon Avenue, Hi House specializes in hot pot, barbecue, and Chinese cuisine. Their menu offers so much variety that it's impossible to sample everything in just one visit, so you'll have to come back again for another visit!

Mango Tea was my drink of choice and I was happy about the taste and sweetness but also the serving size. Popcorn Chicken and Spicy Szechwan Wonton were great starters and they were followed by Lamb and Beef Skewers. Surprisingly the lamb was more tender than the beef! We also shared the hot pot and it hit the spot like it usually does. As mentioned before, their menu is expansive so we'll def be back to try something new and different!

I’m from out of town visiting the area and found this place to take my girlfriend and I for late night chinese food. I wasn’t expecting anything too crazy quality/food wise but safe to say my girlfriend and I were blown away with the service, hospitality, atmosphere, and food itself!! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for authentic chinese food and also the prices are reasonable!

The beef noodle soup was pretty good! I didn't read the menu item completely and accidentally ordered chicken cartilage (just thought it was chicken 😅), but it wasn't bad either. The popcorn chicken was also nice.

I went to this place for the second time. First time a while ago, was great. Today, a completely disaster. I took a client there who was willing to have hot pot soup. The waitress clearly had no idea about the menu, and barely speak English. After half an hour trying to explain to her what we wanted, she took the order, just to come back 5 minutes later to say they didn’t have the miso soup available, and we needed to pick something different. At that point my client was very frustrated and we decided to leave.

Went for a celebration dinner and ordered lamb, beef, chicken skewers, noodles and fried rice. All members of my family and myself had food poisoning the next day. Hope this saves you a trip to CVS and urgent care

Waited for 40 minutes, no water or anything, then a table that came in 20 minutes after me gets served and waitress tells me because they are sitting at table 1????????

The food is good, but I have ordered online from this business multiple times and when I arrive, they are completely closed. The opening hours on maps are incorrect. The hours posted outside of their door are also incorrect and you should not be able to place an order for pick up now if the store is not even open. The one time I arrived as the employees were leaving none of them even spoke English to understand I was asking for a refund.
