This restaurant has a good variety of authentic Chinese dishes. We got the braised pork ($14.95), lamb casserole ($14.95), and eggplant ($9.95). For the price, I have to say I was impressed! The braised pork had mostly really tender pieces and great flavor. The lamb casserole had a strong lamb flavor and delicious noodles in it! I thought the lamb pieces were kind of tough. The eggplant was delicious. We asked for less spicy, and it was perfect.

I ordered takeout three times and no one took my order. I don’t know what the owner of this store is doing. There was no one on the phone. What a piece of rubbish.

Honestly, this place flip flops in quality everytime I come. I've been dining here for about 10 years and have seen owners change many times. The staff mostly stays the same as well as the menu but the food is not regulated well. This restaurant serves home style food family style. It's always busy during dinner time. When the food is good I have no complaints and love showing this place to friends unaccustomed to Chinese food. But when it is occasionally bad it is disappointing. For example, I love the clams with ginger and green onion but last time I ordered it, many of the shells were broken and I accidentally ate many shards because it is very hard to tell what is shell and what is food. It was very sandy and an unpleasant experience. So while there are occasional disappointments this is a solid place to bring family and non-chinese friends for a home-cooked style meal.

This Chinese Shanghainese restaurant is really good and cheap. I heard that it recently replaced an old oil pan. The fried pan-fried buns and sesame pancakes are so popular, loved by both young and old?.Parking: Lots of parking spaces

I come here often and the food is very authentic and high quality. Recommend grandma’s braised pork, stir-fried dried lentils with dried lentils, Wugengchangwang, and garlic-flavored pork ribs.

The most terrible service I have ever meet in Southern California area! I would not recommend you to go unless you want to fight with them.

A little hidden gem. We order eggplant & garlic, hunan tofu and baby bok choy with garlic. All of them were brought in promptly and tasted so good. Definitely making this a regular lunch spot!

I see a lot of haters. This place... is like your neighborhood resturant in Taiwan. Is it the best? No. Is it fair and a really homely feel? Yes. So that's how I rate it. The prices are great, service is so-so but you'll like the food and it's still a place where you can get lots of good chinese food that will be ~$20 per person. Better than a cafe like AJ and Tofu King, solid fast caual where you're expected to sit and eatcasual. If you're looking for more high end, there are other places.
