They try to pack as many people in to get as much money as possible. We got seated today and could barely fit even though there was an open table for four people. We were a party of two. The guy behind me even hit his head against my head because the space was tight. Instead of offering us a better table, the waiter didn't even say a word even though he was standing right there. He then said what would you like to order. No compassion, only looking for the next paying customer.
Avoid this place. They don't care about you, only about what they can charge you and how many people they can fit in at one time.

The food is good without question. Need to finalize the sauces issue as there are none. Kebab is good with tomato sauce. Certainly not with ketchup. The portion is huge, which is also a plus. Rather recommend it than not. Visit this restaurant and make your own opinion.

Way over priced $70 for lunch. They said they only serve dinner today. Why?
The kabobs are OK, overpriced. This review is specifically on the service. There is a thin woman with dark hair who worked the front desk and immediately made a face when my mother walked in wearing hijab. She had a rude demeanor and proceeded to hand me my take out order and walked away without saying anything.
My mother and her friend had a similar experience with the same worker a while back. When they confronted her about it, she continued to be rude and dismissive. We won't be coming back.

**Great food, but unfriendly staff!**
The food here is absolutely amazing—probably some of the best I’ve had in a long time. However, the experience was tainted by the unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude of the staff. I found myself wanting to finish my meal quickly just to escape the uncomfortable atmosphere. It’s really unfortunate that such a great culinary experience is overshadowed by the lack of hospitality.

I had an issue with this restaurant a couple of years ago and, unfortunately, nothing has improved since. A friend picked this place because it was near AMC, and we wanted to catch a movie after. We arrived around 7 PM on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was completely empty. I should have known better than to go to a Persian restaurant that's empty on a Saturday night.
When our appetizer order came, the server brought the wrong dish (Maust Khiar instead of Maust Moosier). After lightly serving a small amount onto a plate, we let the server know about the mistake. Instead of apologizing, he said we had "touched" the food and would need to reorder and pay again! Both dishes are yogurt, so it's not easy to recognize just by looking, but how else would we have known without tasting it? Plus, 95% of the dish was untouched.
Our entire bill would have been around $200, but we only paid for the food that was on the table, mostly untouched, and then left. I won't be coming back, this place clearly doesn't value its customers.

Don’t want to complain about Persian restaurant , but honestly it could be better, this place is in good plaza and has nice decorative space but food is not authentic.
I will asked my friends about their opinions and they said it was ok. Not very special to come back.

This place is going downhill. Very high prices and terrible service. Along With higher prices, some portions have gone down in quantity like paneer Sabzi. We visited today and there were two girls working. One was on her phone all the time and did not care about customers. We had to beg in getting refills. The other girl never reached our table as well. We had to one of them all the time.
Terrible. Not going again.

If I could give it 100 stars, I would!
Stumbled on this place while out in Irvine. It’s super authentic tix and tastes home made. Juiciest boneless chicken and the beef barg (ground beef skewers) are perfectly seasoned. And the hummus and yogurt w cucumber a must! Even the rice tastes super good compared to other Persian and kabob places. This is worth a 45 min drive from our home. Will be back!!! Prices are reasonable. And super casual.
Kid-friendliness: Babies and toddlers welcomed!

Very expensive restaurant, and quality is not like before.
Too expensive for the service and ambiance! This place is small and tight! Food is good but you are paying upscale restaurant prices for an almost fast food ambiance! Two kabab dishes and two soft drinks $65!!!! Not coming back!

I always order from House of Kabab once I have large gatherings. When I called to order yesterday I specifically said put enough rice in family style (when ordering dishes separately they put rice to feed two people easily, whereas, when ordering family style, who ever is doing the portioning the rice is hardly enough for 1 person.) Again, this happened to me yesterday and despite of me telling them to put enough rice, they neglected to do so, I end up making more rice last minute. Very disappointing. I will stop ordering from them. The service is terrible enough that the quality of food is not going to compensate for service.

Great food, but prices have gone way too high keeping in mind the tiny space.
