The food was amazing! Love the spicy mayo with the fries and the meat on my French dip was so tender and perfectly cooked. I was so full when I left because I wanted to have as much as I could on my plate. We also had the famous spinach artichoke dip which I’ve had in their SF location. It never disappoints. Service was great!

A divine addition, as if Mother Nature herself dropped by with her own personal side dish. If vegetables could have egos, these artichokes would demand their own dressing room. Don't think I can add anything to what has already been written. The place has good food and service with the we will make it right if you're unhappy with what you were served. Costs about 40% more and for that you get the privacy from other diners and attentive service. It hasn't changed in the over 25yrs I've been a customer.

Worst steak house I've EVER been to. Worst customer service. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well..it came like beef jerky. It was well, well done. The general manager named Nick Siegel came to the table so I gave him my feedback. He started out saying "you're not guaranteed a medium well steak, even if we remake it " what?!?! Why?! Then why would you ask how I would like my steak made in the first place if I'm not guaranteed to get it the way I want it ?!?! The worst part about our conversation is that he said "if he were to remake it, he would have to charge me for both plates." At that time I felt like it was discrimination now. He wasn't even polite or professional. He did not even apologize for the first steak that came well done. My daughter and I waited 40 minutes for our steaks to come out.. and to be asked if I wanted to wait another 40 minutes for another well done steak just to be charged twice is crazy and NEVER heard of. I would Never go back for refer anyone to come to this Houston's Restaurant. Bad Service, Dry steak!

Delicious food, responsive staff but hard to get a table last minute so better to make reservations in advance. Parking is convenient and plenty. I would definitely recommend to others and come back again.
I recently dined at Houston’s in Irvine, and unfortunately, it was not the experience I had hoped for. While the food was decent, the service left much to be desired. The reception staff were unfriendly, and my waitress was unhelpful and dismissive. It felt as though any questions or requests were met with disdain, and overall, the service was far below what I had expected based on previous visits. Disappointing experience considering the reputation of the restaurant.

Houston's never disappoints. If the grilled artichoke is in season, it's non-negotiable. If it's not, the spinach artichoke dip is fantastic. Every entree I've had is cooked to perfection and so delicious.
Been to Houston’s to many times to count. The last time was so sad and disappointing We never had an issue bringing our baby and leaving him in his stroller out of everyone’s way while he sleeps until yesterday. We have done it multiple times without issue. The so called manger was extremely rude about it and was rude to my pregnant wife. They clearly have changed policies and don’t want children in the restaurant. Luckily we have a good boy and he was fine in the booth. Won’t be visiting again!
