Have stayed at this property many times.. . In fact, will visit again Thursday & 2nd week of April. Also, used it for meetings when lived in OC and had offices and Irvine. Excellent property. Easy parking. Great location- you can walk to some of OC’s better restaurants. Recently renovated. I’m a fan!

While staying for my company's pre-season meeting, I really enjoyed my stay at the Irvine Marriott. Often times when we travel for work the hotel experience can be underwhelming. Not the case here! Staff was exceptional and the food was very good as well. Local restaurants and bars within walking distance made it that much more enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

The place is clean and nice, but the experience I had with staff was disappointing. My wife and I came to this place on Friday, and after staying for one night, we decided for 24 hours check-out since my wife is Bonvoy Ambassador member. I was told by her that our room will be upgraded to suite level and 24 hours check-out option is available for us. But the room we checked in for was small and regular room with small balcony. Also we are told that we can only stay until 4pm although we checked in at 9pm. I was ok with this situation but I extended for another night while my wife went back to home. I noticed my original key is not working any more. So I went to the lobby inquiring about why my key is not working. One guy with a manager next to him told me the it is due to key's magnetic problem. But I have never experienced key's failure due to its weak magnetic strength. Another worker told me that since I extended the stay, we should have had new keys. But when we talked to the lobby for extension we have not been notified. Now since I forgot to carry my photo I.D, I had to call my wife to confirm my stay. At that time a lady was now blaming on myself not carrying photo ID. Whole experiences with this hotel were disastrous for me and I would not recommend it to anyone. I guess being loyal customer with Marriott like top tier ambassador member is not worthy.

The Marriott Irvine embodies everything JW Marriott wanted for service to customers. The hotel is spacious, clean, and pleasant on the eyes. The staff are fun, courteous, and always helpful to make for an easy stay. The food is very well prepared and tasty.There is a Hot Shoppes coffee shop, which honors Willard Marriott's early accomplishments.The rooms are comfortable and clean.

I am a Bonvoy member and received my benefit gift with 5 free room upgrades. I submitted for the upgrade, and it was accepted by Marriott Irvine. When I arrived at my room, it was not upgraded and two of my upgrade credits were deducted. I spoke to their service department, and they were rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could just have my upgrade credits back and they said I had to call the benefits department for Marriott Bonvoy. Well I did this and they told me the hotel was who needed to fulfill this request. I filed a case and the manager reached out to me saying they would update me when it was fixed. This was 4 months ago. I have sent two emails to the manager who reached out asking for an update, and never heard back. I ended up not staying there because of their attitude. If they had resolved the issue, perhaps I would have tried another visit (I travel to that area a lot), but the lack of response was the nail in the coffin. All I asked for was a little customer service. I needed the larger room becuase I had my daughtr with me and needed to work. I would have booked the larger room if I had not had an upgrade benefit from my loyalty, but they did not give me that chance. 0 stars for customer service and not addressing a loyal customers concerns.

Definitely one of the few hotels in Irvine I would highly recommend. I love when hotels have wide windows and allow for lots of natural lighting. The room we stayed in (1 King), was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. The only thing I will say is that parking is quite expensive at $42 per day just for self parking. Also, definitely consider opt-ing in for the M-Club. This includes a fantastic continental breakfast along with complimentary coffee and snacks 24/7. I'd stay here again!
