This location closed recently. All of the signage has been removed from the building and they posted a sign on the door as well (attached). I've tried to report that this location is closed to Google twice now, but the restaurant chain keeps marking it as open for some reason. Just frustrated that the Google posting is inaccurate, hoping others will see this review before driving to the restaurant to eat and being disappointed that it's closed.Edited to add additional photo showing the building has no signage and windows are all shuttered

R. I. P.This was a great Island's location, but with the addition of the new location for Island's in the Irvine Marketplace there was always talk about if they would keep this location open.(This was a much better layout and much better staff than Irv M location!)When the landowner did the "post Covid" huge increase in the lease renewal, they announced that Wednesday, April 27th 2022 was their last night. This was a locals place for many in the Woodbridge area, and it will be missed.

We called before arriving to the restaurant the girl who answered said the wait time was 5 minutes or less. The older gentleman who was at the front seemed bothered when we walked in the door maybe because I am Mexican American? The gentleman then said to us the wait time was 15 to 20 minutes or more seemed like he wss trying to discouraged us from eating here, I should have listened and just left food was terrible along with the service to match. They also seated people before us and the waiter nate was very rude when taking our order. Nate was very friendly to people of his own race sitting across from us. Horrible experience wouldn't recommend eating here if you are a different ethnicity! No stars!!!!

Even if the menus and ambience are not new, they know how to run business.Everytime, they consistently deliver what I want.Taste, pricing, ambience, and service are always flawless.I really love this place.

Nice decoration. Good food. I will go back again.

Average pandemic-era, dine-in hamburger restaurant in most all respects, except food quality, which was above average. Don't expect prompt or attentive service, or above-average cleanliness. Do expect prices to be noticeably higher than a year ago. Nevertheless, the food was good tasting, was served hot, and portions were reasonably sized. I'll go back to this particular Islands in Irvine.

Great service, great food, and let's not forget the desserts! Like the Chocolate Lava Cake!!

We had good service, and the food was good, as always. Tried the Beach Bowl with hoisin sauce and it was really tasty. All this capped off with dessert for the birthday girl, which was enough for the 4 of us to share!

Well it has been a while since I've visited an islands, It surely has changed in many ways but it still has that great taste. Well done burgers are always the bomb, but the fries aren't. They used to be free but now charge 1.50$ for each refill. I could honestly go to a Ruby's diner and get the free fries refill. But aside from that one thing, the overall experience was pretty average for me. Would I recommend? Depends if you like the atmosphere, otherwise you're kinda off with something such as Ruby's Diner for your burger and fries fix.

Consistent every time. Carlos is great! He's there to take care of you! Jeanette is in the background of things. She's wonderful and always there to make it the best experience. Love this spot!

This was my first time visiting any islands restaurant and the experience wasn’t good. The service was awful and very flow. If we needed any refills he would bring one at a time but not in groups and the wait took forever. Then it went onto the food which after arriving an hour later was all cold. The burgers and fries of every person at the table was cold, as if it just sat forever. One burger came out completely burned to include the cooked toppings. Finally we asked for a manager and that didn’t change anything. No comping of any meals or offers of a real fix. So again this is my first and probably last visit. If your looking for better service and hot food, check another restaurant.

The food was horrible. The manager was nice. The waitress could of cared less. Won't be going back.

Nice lunch w 2 friends. We each had a different burger. The Truffle oil fries were extremely good. We all liked them. Staff was limited, but they still got all done in a timely fashion, including refills on coke & iced teas. We complimented them on service, and tipped well.

FYI, today I was at Islands restaurant in Irvine for lunch with a friend. I asked for my bill, I told the bartender I was using Google pay. She said they don't accept Google pay. All my credit cards are on my Google vallet. I asked for manager "Janet", after she heard the problem and I told her I was not happy, she was very aggressive and asked me to leave their stablishment. That was rude and unacceptable. I think Island should join the rest of the developed world and catch up with technology. Even donut shops accept Google pay. They also need to train their manager better. I have been going there since they opened. I called and paid my bill over the phone.

This is hands down the best Island's location there is(IMHO). Our server, Kat, was super awesome. The experience would get 5 full stars all across the board. Our party didn't have any complaints whatsoever. The food quality is exponentially better than any of other Island's in OC.food/drink recommendations:Food: Shorebird sandwich[wheat bun]Drink: Cool Breeze or Lemon BreezeSides/Apps: Sweet potato fries
