If you want to upgrade your fries to onion rings its $2 [ONION RING BASKET] Comes with so many rings! great size for sharing for 3-4 people. They are battered, fried, and very crunchy [MAUI BURGER] very mustardy flavor, but delicious. A great size and can be shared for 2 people

This location closed recently. All of the signage has been removed from the building and they posted a sign on the door as well (attached). I've tried to report that this location is closed to Google twice now, but the restaurant chain keeps marking it as open for some reason. Just frustrated that the Google posting is inaccurate, hoping others will see this review before driving to the restaurant to eat and being disappointed that it's closed.Edited to add additional photo showing the building has no signage and windows are all shuttered

R. I. P.This was a great Island's location, but with the addition of the new location for Island's in the Irvine Marketplace there was always talk about if they would keep this location open.(This was a much better layout and much better staff than Irv M location!)When the landowner did the "post Covid" huge increase in the lease renewal, they announced that Wednesday, April 27th 2022 was their last night.This was a locals place for many in the Woodbridge area, and it will be missed.

We called before arriving to the restaurant the girl who answered said the wait time was 5 minutes or less. The older gentleman who was at the front seemed bothered when we walked in the door maybe because I am Mexican American? The gentleman then said to us the wait time was 15 to 20 minutes or more seemed like he wss trying to discouraged us from eating here, I should have listened and just left food was terrible along with the service to match. They also seated people before us and the waiter nate was very rude when taking our order. Nate was very friendly to people of his own race sitting across from us. Horrible experience wouldn't recommend eating here if you are a different ethnicity! No stars!!!!

We ate at this location earlier today and enjoyed our meal. Every item on the menu was well done and our server was great. However, we just read that this location is closing in a couple of days on Wednesday April 27. When we were there today, there was no indication of them closing so soon. I am aware that they were short staffed today with only three servers but that did not set off any red flags!! We will miss this location and hope the staff are relocated to other locations.

I went in to place a to go order. I was greeted and then had 4 different employees not come by to even say we will be with you. I waited 8 minutes with zero persons in line and left. Clearly today they were not interested in taking my to go order. Sad because I actually been here a few times but won't return I felt invisible.

My family and I have been coming to islands since it opened here in Woodbridge. We are regulars. We have had the waitress Catalina several times and each time we have been met with attitude. She ignores us when we sit down and does not treat us kindly. Tonight we sat down in Catalina's station and she proceeded to take someone else's order then look at us and walk away without saying I'll be with you in a minute or hi, welcome give me one minute and I will be back. We waited another 5 minutes until I got up to look for someone. Before I could say anything she looked at me and said, " I'll be with you when I am ready." Dripping with attitude. My daughter and wife could hear her tone from the table. I responded and asked if I could have some service. She responded and said, I refuse to serve them." She yelled this with the manager standing right there. I can't believe a waiter would have the guts to yell this through the restaurant. Be wary if you go here. You will not get kind service from Catalina.

No matter how busy the bar gets during happy hour she's always smiling and ready to top off your beer and get that happy hour order in in time.Chayla definitely makes our experience better at Islands, the one star ding is because your womens restroom is a freezer haha

Chayla is an amazing bartender and such a hard worker! Girl never stops moving whether it's busy or slow! Always quick with topping off your drinks, making shakes, and she does it with a huge smile on her face! Love coming to Islands since she's there! Will keep coming back!

Average pandemic-era, dine-in hamburger restaurant in most all respects, except food quality, which was above average. Don't expect prompt or attentive service, or above-average cleanliness. Do expect prices to be noticeably higher than a year ago. Nevertheless, the food was good tasting, was served hot, and portions were reasonably sized. I'll go back to this particular Islands in Irvine.

I always enjoy the atmosphere of Islands. I went with my boyfriend and 2 school age children for dinner. The staff was very helpful and friendly and we only had to wait about 10min to be seated on Thursday night. Once seated it took a while for a server to come over but she apologized and from that point on the service was wonderful. Our server was kind, friendly, and got us everything we needed in a timely manner. My kids enjoyed their Mac n cheese and cheeseburger with fries. My boyfriend and I shared the fried fish tacos and the Kilauea burger. My boyfriend enjoyed the burger but I felt it was a little dry. We both liked the fish tacos with some Cholula on it which added the needed sauce. Next time, and there will be a next time, I would like to try the fish tacos grilled. We both enjoyed our IPA as well and the kids liked drinking their water from the big plastic mugs.
