This is a little gem in a corner at the UTC. It's not crowded because most people are going to In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A and maybe the habit down the street. But if you haven't had the smashburger then you don't know what you're missing. My son and I started going here because the burger was really good. It looks like a homemade patty and it's thick. And the sauteed onions are yummy. It's as good a burger as one at Islands. Let's face it, prices have gone up but some places have up the quality of the food also to compensate which is really nice.At first I thought that maybe because it's next to UCI that they were making it special for the kids. I had to confirm that the Jack in the Box near where I live in the South Bay was similar and it was. So give Jack in the Box. Another try but I'm a little hesitant to give this review and all of a sudden they get crowded.

Nice clean restaurant and restroom available for customers inside ? Friendly staff and hard working manager refilled the ice machine. Good location close to the University in Irvine California.
I only come here when I get stoned, and I'm never disappointed. The food is amazing, if you're off a blinker you just took in your car. Otherwise it's just your average fast food burger chain. The munchie meal is a classic, and definitely satisfies my munchies. The inside is kinda dirty, but I mostly use the drive-thru now anyways. If you're eating at jack in the box, you definitely aren't looking for a fine dining experience.

Warning Review of Jack in the Box, 4289 Campus Drive, Irvine, California 92612: I had an absolutely terrible experience at this location. The employees and management were frustrating and disrespectful. They refused to honor a valid coupon specific to their store, hid in the back, and ignored customers. This place is unethical, dirty, and not worth your time. I will be reporting them to Jack in the Box corporate, the Entertainment Club, Yelp, Google, the Better Business Bureau, and local authorities. Stay away from this fraudulent and incompetent establishment. I will also be seeking legal action against them.Look at photos showing the Entertainment club with their ad in it and also the coupon showing the store and location where it could be redeemed. The manager at Jack in the Box claimed on my camera that the Entertainment Club was fraudulent and they never herald of them or ever advertised with them. This is very serious allegation and I will report this and show the video to the Club. Stay away and be-careful. I went with the intention of getting a chicken fajita pita (sort of healthy) but got side tracked and ordered a fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good but not especially healthy?

Had to share this because it was so ridiculous: just ordered at this location, and asked for ketchup. This is what they gave me. I asked for another, and they refused, saying they were running low. Maybe instead of filling containers 1/8 of the way full, send someone across the parking lot to Target to grab some more ketchup?
