Quality is really good! But it's just a little pricey
So velvety!
This shop has teas, little bites and ice cream. Came for the bobo tea and ordered a guava match latte. They use real milk here, but have non dairy option. The matcha guava was a nice blend and with boba hit the spot. I ordered it with 0 sugar and for me it was sweet enough already.
I need to come back and try the ice cream one day.
I can't get enough of this place. This is the only place I get matcha drinks from. It's a lactose intolerant friendly place with different milk options.
Their matcha is the best, and don't get me tweaked like other strong teas - it's a gradual caffeine buzz. My go to is their standard matchalatte with oat or soy milk, with almond jelly, light ice and low sugar. They make their almond jelly fresh in house, and you can tell. Very refreshing during these warm summer days.
Remember to shake before stabbing!
Tbh, it might be a bit overrated… drinks and soft serve are way too sweet.
We got:
- Dirty Taro Vanilla Matcha Latte, less ice, less sweet : tasted like drinking syrup without any matcha… dirty = adding espresso, but no coffee taste at all. Everything I taste was like a strong vanilla milk with taro paste. Really don’t recommend this $9 “matcha”.
- Cocao Cascade (matcha vanilla swirl w/ light hojicha dusting, boba, red beans, a LITTLE cacao nibs): the sweetest soft serve I’ve ever had. Matcha flavor did not stand out and the whole combination was just overly sweet. Again, not worth the $8!
I like that you can customize sweetness levels. Great on a hot day
Great matcha soft serve!
Got delivered a drink from this stylish boba shop by my cousin. Haven't heard of it before as plenty of cool shops open in SoCal all the time, but my family did a boba run and their beautiful website and menu intrigued me.
I got a rose water matcha latte (fresh dairy, all-natural rose water simple syrup, & a double matcha shot). It sat well in the fridge even after a few hours. I've gotten rose milk teas before, but not rosewater.
I also don't drink rose and matcha together often. This drink was delicious! I think I got less sweet. The rose flavor was light and the matcha was tasty; it didn't taste like grass or seaweed. It also was not grainy. This was clearly high-quality matcha. I don't think either flavor overpowered the other, and the sweetness was perfect.
Overall I'd come back when I'm in SoCal!
This place is larger than one of the locations I first went to in LA. I ordered the seasonal menu items and was not disappointed. Always get the matcha items when coming here since that is their specialty.
A great stop for authentic and tasty boba drinks
I recently tried Junbi at Irvine and the quality of the drinks were just exceptional. The taro vanilla matcha latte was a unique and delicious drink, and the added boba and almond jelly complimented it in the best way. Here, the earthy yet subtle matcha flavour is to die for, and doesn't taste gritty or like grass, like in some other boba shops. The taro extract was very tasty as well and was a great match with the matcha. It didn't have any weird food colouring or artificial flavouring which was a relief.
Also ordered the vanilla matcha latte, yuzu lemonade and the kelp rice ball, which were all fantastic. However I covered more on the taro matcha latte in this review as it was one of the popular and staple drinks. My only comment was the serving of almond jelly might have been on the extra side, as along with the boba topping it was hard to get a balanced sip. Please do try when in LA!

The ambiance gives cafe vibes if you wanted to do homework and bring your laptop you totally can. From what I saw there where people with there laptops enjoying there drinks. Or even just to hang and catch up. I ended up getting there soft serve. I got there matcha Vanilla swirl with boba & cocoa powder. This was perfect for a nice warm day and you just want something cold. I enjoyed that it’s not really overpowering sweat and you can actually taste the matcha but it’s not bitter either. It’s just right from both ends. The boba is soft and chewy. Great in texture. The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars it’s because of there customer service. No one greeted me upon arrival. While I was looking at the menu no one really acknowledged me. After a while a cashier attendant noticed me but didn’t great me either just stood in front of register waiting to see if I was ready to order. Did not speak to me until I spoke to them ready to order.

I am not normally a fan of matcha from “boba” places but this place does it right! Very tasty and service was quick. Loved the vibe and the barista Ryan helped a lot.
I was the only one in line along with a gentleman in front of me. One of the employees, approached the line, only addressing the man and asking him if he had already been helped. Once he said he had already been attended, she completely ignored me and just walked away to do nothing. Like, um????
The ice cream is good but the service is poor.
Of the matcha drinks, I've only ordered the hojicha with a vanilla cold cap but it's really tasty, so I've had it like 10 times since this place opened. I recommend going with less sugar/less ice!
the rice balls are only ok (salmon is the best) but they're passable and it's not a rice ball place anyway.
I've also tried the yuzu/dragon fruit slush, which was only OK.
