This is my first time trying Junbi's soft serve and let me tell you... IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Creamy, solid, not too sweet, and doused all in its matcha-glory! Not going to lie though, it was hard to not want to buy their drinks too but with the super generous serving I've received (as shown in the video) I didn't think I could fit anymore in my tummy haha!

Highly craving Matcha everything! I'm so happy I found this place. It's located inside of a large shopping center and it's very easy to find. I arrived during lunchtime on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. You can tell this is a common place for people to stop by because people knew to walk up to the self ordering computer screen and did not have to wait very long. I ordered two drinks... Dragon fruit tea, and a Matcha latte. The person helping me at the register was so patient and kind to explain what the caffeine level was for each drink. I could have gone full Matcha cold brew with over 200 mg of caffeine. But I didn't because I wanted something a little bit sweeter. This is definitely a place I would come and visit and the service was so lovely.

I had no idea this place opened in Irvine until I searched for new cafes nearby, but I'm so glad I did because their matcha is BOMB!! Their strawberry matcha latte is one of the best I've tasted (if not the best). And their blueberry matcha is divine! They get their matcha from Uji, Japan so you know it's legit. It's also the perfect place to study/work. There's only 7 tables for 2 seaters & a bench but it isn't at all crowded (weekdays and weekends). I saw more people grab & go. I'm honestly surprised how they're not more popular or well known. I highly recommend checking them out! SIDE NOTE: They blast the AC so I'd make sure to wear something warm or bring a jacket if you plan to stay.

The drinks here were top notch! Really enjoyed the matcha they had here! Just the right amount of caffeine hit and service was great! Ambiance was good! I actually came here to take a meeting but wasn't too loud or too quiet! Make sure to bring a jacket if you're going to be here for a while! It does get a little chilly! :)

Quality tea. Love the ease of the self ordering system and that you can customize the drink with non dairy milk and level of sweetness. The soft serve tastes great but would prefer if they didn't leave a big gaping hole in the middle and fill it all up instead. Happened twice so I'm sure it's not an oversight but rather how they trained them to fill it up. At $6 per cup would prefer to have it full.

Not gonna gatekeep- Junbi's strawberry matcha latte is the bomb! My favorite strawberry matcha latte is from Boba Guys, but it is a bit far for me. I've tried Strawberry Matcha latte from other places (ie, The Mugs, TP Tea, Tea Maru, Sunlight, etc) and have not found one that's as good as Boba Guys, until now!!! Junbi is new, clean, and colorful inside, it gives out a happy vibe. Order at the kiosk and drinks come out quickly. I only got the strawberry matcha with boba on the first visit, and I can't wait to go back and try their other drinks.

This place is so nice and I really like the decor and feel. Similar to a sunright tea studio in terms of self order. They have a lot of different drinks such as matcha lattes and matcha cold brews. I asked the staff what's the difference and they said one of them is less milk and the other one is more milk than says a latte. They ran out of the guava and other fruit matcha Blends by the time I came. The person recommended me the matcha Madagascar vanilla latte. It was very good and I didn't taste any bitterness. They had an extensive menu and I want to go there again to try the other drinks. They do also offer their merchandise on the wall selling their ceremonial matcha and other tools to make it on your own. They were also very quick. The place is kind of hard to find if you go on Google maps. But if you're from the area you can go look for 99 Ranch and is somewhere in that Plaza off of culver. Please give it a try if you are in the area.

Very aesthetic interior and staff is nice. I got to try the Cold Madagascar Vanilla Matcha Latte with soymilk and boba. I loved how it came out but wish I got less sweetness than I ordered. The boba is sweet on it's own so I would level down in sweetness if you don't want the overpowering sweet flavor :) Will definitely be back!

Asked for 25% sweet (my usual for tea lattes), but what I received was much sweeter than I expected--it overwhelmed the tea flavor. The cup label said "Less Sweet" instead of a percentage like many other shops, so perhaps they just don't have the option to do lighter than a ~50%?There was also a ring of liquid around the outer cup rim, don't know if the lid leaks or they tried to overfill it.

1st time going to this location. They have 2 other locations in Rowland Heights & LA in Westwood. Ambiance was relaxed. There were quite a bit of students just hanging out studying &/or talking amongst their groups. We used the self service kiosk to order so didn't get to interact with the workers aside from when our drinks were given to us which was only a couple seconds. Idk if it's cause there weren't a lot of orders at the time but this was the quickest I've ever experienced for a boba shop. From the time we started our order to when we got our drinks, the entire process only took like 5 mins. Boba quality was great too as it was really soft. Even now, as I'm writing this & the drink has been in the fridge the last 6 hrs, the boba is still as soft as the initial sip which is amazing. Highly recommend giving this place a try for anyone that's in the OC, LA, or Rowland Heights area. You won't be disappointed!

Came to Junbi to get their soft serve ice cream. You can order matcha, vanilla or swirl for $5.75, which includes one dusting (matcha, cocoa or hojicha) and a topping (red bean, chia seeds, lychee, aloe, cacao nibs, boba, almond jelly, granola or coco chips). I chose a matcha vanilla swirl with hojicha dust and granola. The soft serve was nice and creamy and not too sweet. I would have given it five stars, except that it was swirled in such a way that there was a big hollow space in the middle. The AC is cranked up super high, so it is pretty cold inside. Something to consider in case you're debating between a hot or cold beverage and are planning to sit inside.

Finally had the opportunity to stop by. Love me some matcha, so I definitely wanted to try Junbi's menu. Not busy when I dropped in, and we were greeted by the staff when entered. Some tables available for seating, and the store was clean. I ordered the matcha guave latte with soy milk, and also tried the strawberry matcha latte that my sister ordered. They were both delicious, but definitely overpowered by the guava and the strawberry flavors, respectively. I think I prefer to taste the matcha more, so next time, will order the matcha latte itself.

Cute little spot in the Culver Plaza for anyone needing some matcha, boba, or soft serve. There are some tables and outlets here you could work, BUT just bring your jacket because it is freezing COLD in here. I got the Cold Guava Matcha Cold Brew and it was ok. The guava taste is a bit overwhelming in the drink. I love matcha, but I couldn't taste much of it here. It's basically a guava juice. I ordered less sweet, but it came out still really sweet. For anyone that usually does 50% sweet or less, I would recommend no sweet.

tldr: The customer service was subpar - meaning she gave me the wrong information twice. I did not receive anything close to what I ordered. I came for my first trip on BOGO calpog. me: can i order two calpog BOGO? cashier: you can buy any drink but the free one will be calpog me: ok, can i order a milk tea? cashier: no, it has to be calpog me: but you just said it could be any drink cashier: but not milk tea me: ok, so which drinks can I order? cashier: any me: you just said I couldn't order milk tea cashier: any with calpog me: i'm sorry, this is my first time here, can you show me where on the menu I can order calpog drinks cashier: *looks at menu for 30 seconds* oh sorry it's not on the menu because it's only at this store. me: so...what can I order? cashier: *blank stare* Anyway.. I then proceeded to order 2 calpogs, *less sweet for one, regular sweet for the second. The less sweet drink came 10x sweeter than the 100% sweet. The cashier and drink maker were 2 different people. Customer service and taste are a big fail for this visit. Customer service aside, maybe they're still training. But both drinks tasted bad. There is like a sweet fake tea syrup, then a fruit syrup, and then regular syrup. With so many choices for tea in Irvine, I'm not running back to try again.
