We had been coming to Kaju Tofu Restaurant for years and loved the food here. The seafood pancake and tofu soup are my favorite.

20+min difference for first food and last food (3rd, port cutlet) served. First two meals were cold by the time last meal was served. asked about it and server just said “I don’t know, it’s always like that with pork cutlet”. To add to the disappointment, pork cutlet was like 2mm thin; not sure how that took 30+ minutes to cook and it tasted like garbage. It was too crunch that it broke when kid tried to pick it up with fork. Never going again, nor recommending anyone. They don’t care about your food.

I absolutely love Kaiju soft tofu! I usually frequent their walnut location, but today Culver was closer and I was in the mood for some soft tofu stew!

They have a kiosk you can order at for takeout, its really easy to use and add on ingredients

I got the vegetable tofu soft and added beef. You have the option to do a house broth, or a vegetarian option! The vegetable stew comes with tofu, mixed vegetables, some broccoli, carrots, brown mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, and corn. It was delicious. It also comes with a side of rice.

I was delightfully surprised when I got home, over 40 minutes later, and my food was still warm! I also was surprised that they did a small takeout banchan box which I loved!

I will gladly recommend anyone to this location!

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options and the option to switch your soup broth to vegetarian as well.

The submitted rib soft tofu contains only rib meat and soft tofu. No other vegetables can be found. The soup, which I requested to be medium spicy, is not to your taste or mine.
The server, Andrew, is so competent and friendly that you would want to scout him.

great place! price is good for the large portions. we got wild sesame and vegetable dumpling soups. would like to try the kimchi soup with medium spice since the mild spice wasn’t too intense. ban chan was delicious and rice drink was also tasty. service was super good and servers were super attentive

We came and ordered the lunch specials, the price was slightly high for lunch specials but then we realized the reason, the portion is really good. I would suggest two people order one lunch special plus a tofu soup. The food is good and pretty authentic. It is funny for the spicy level: spicy, very spicy, very very spicy lol, my friend took the very spicy and it was really spicy, can't imagine what will be like for the very very and triple. There are various dishes that came with the meal and our waiter was really good with refilling it. We were all super full with the amount of food. I would come again with a more empty stomach next time ?

My colleague and I ventured into this Korean restaurant in Heritage Plaza for lunch. The place is small with ample seating and an okay ambiance, and there is plenty of parking space available.

We were seated immediately as it was less busy than usual. We ordered the lunch special, which offers a choice of soup and an entrée. You can choose your preferred spice level, but I wouldn't recommend going above "very spicy" as the intense heat doesn't complement the flavors well.

The service was prompt. They first served the traditional side dishes, which were good and refillable, along with a plate of grilled salted fish and raw eggs that you can use in the soup or however you prefer.

We ordered the kimchi tofu soup, one with oyster and the other with beef. The rice was served in a pot piping hot, but over time, the bottom layer sticks to the pot and becomes crunchy. The soup was hot but lacked the flavor I was expecting. The chicken bulgogi was good, while the beef bulgogi was overly sweet for my taste. The galbi was flavorful, but the meat was a bit chewy.

Overall, the lunch special portions were very filling for the price. If you're in the area and want to try Korean cuisine, this place is worth a visit.

My family and I had a wonderful late lunch here today. They were able to seat our group of 8 immediately and the food was wonderful. The side dishes were great and never ending. Our server was very attentive and very kind helping us through the menue and suggesting what he thought we might like best.

Got the kimchi soon tofu but it was just ok. The rice was really dry, which is a shame because the stew goes so much better with fresh rice cooked right. I probably won’t be back but if I do, it’ll be the Garden Grove location, which was much better.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. It was busy, but the servers were attentive. I would definitely come back here again. I had the beef bulgogi. My brother had the spicy chicken and I liked the spicy chicken alot.

Pretty good soon tofu. I really like the kimchi soup with oysters. The spicy is not very spicy and would be a 7 on the scale of 10. The Culver drive location doesn't have super long wait time. If you don't want to wait and have good soon tofu, this is your spot!

The soon tofu comes in boiling hot and the sides are also delicious
