Really disappointed. I placed my order over the phone 20 minutes prior to picking it up. Once I arrived it took 30 more minutes to get my order, keep in mind there was no customers but me. Once I got my chicken lunch combo, there was very little chicken DRENCHED in teriyaki sauce. Also, my tempura came raw and was not fully cooked. I usually get food here and never have an issue like today.

Favorite restaurant in CA. I ALWAYS come here whenever I'm in CA because it's a quick and easy meal. Pick a set menu option and they course every handroll out for you. Make sure to eat it as soon as they place it in front of you as the warm rice on the crispy seaweed is the ideal texture for each roll!

Made reservations through Yelp for a Saturday evening. Parking is valet only so you'll have to park on the street. We were able to park about 2 blocks away and paid metered parking. They were running a little late so we were seated a bit after our reservation.

Bad Yelp rating. This place is good and the service is gracious. The sushi is delicious. My favorite is the churashi bowl. The fish is very fresh. I had the chicken Kara age . It's delicious. The chicken is marinated in a soy based sauce, so the meat is super tasty. It's not just fried chicken. combo. It's served with decent California roll, really good tempura, miso soup and salad. Kappa Miyako is a good choice for Japanese food.
