I had originally ordered a portobello katsu sandwich. The cashier misunderstood me and brought out the Portobello katsu curry rice plate instead. Oopsy!!! I'm glad that he did, or I wouldn't know how this new dish that I tried for the first time would be so yummy!! He gave me a free iced green tea for bringing the wrong order. The food was great and awesome service!! As I was sitting out in the patio area to do my devotional, the cashier came out and said, I read your review. Here's a thank you!! He gave me free tiramisu!! I've been craving a tiramisu, too. God always gives you the desire of your heart when you show kindness, especially to restaurant workers or anyone in the customer service industry. A little kindness goes a long way.

They have multiple locations in OC/LA, the service is fast, we only waited 10 mins for the food to come. I love the portobello katsu sando the most cause it is crunchy and very yummy. The curry is on the sweeter side which I like.
Wow ! It’s amazing ! I’ve been trying all Korean foods in OC, finally I found best restaurant! They made really well and so good ! Highly recommend

I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich from Katsu Bar and received a regular Katsu sandwich. I did not mind, and simply wanted them to correct the order, so I politely called to ask. The first girl who picked up did not know what to do, so she handed the phone to a man. I told them that my Nashville Sandwich was extremely sweet (not spicy at all) and covered in Katsu sauce, to which he rudely replied “That’s how our Nashville Sandwiches are.” No inquiries on the sandwich, no offers to switch, and no customer service whatsoever. I asked if the sandwich was supposed to be red, like the photo advertised and he continued to gaslight me. I didn’t want to argue, so I accepted it. I linked the photos of my sandwich just to compare the photos online, and it’s upsetting that this store could not meet the bare minimum to apologize. It is okay that they got the order wrong, but they should work on asking about the order and accept the possibility of a mistake instead of gaslighting customers!

Great weekly deals! I had the curry udon and the mild spice totally kicked my butt but I enjoyed it very much. The contrast between the slippery udon with the crunchy meaty katsu was fantastic. I also highly recommend getting a Korean radish side dish to go along with your meal. They also have good sodas to choose from. It's situated in the same plaza as PetSmart, 99 ranch and a bunch of other places so it's great to do your errands and then pick up lunch or dinner.

Dietary restrictions: They have sugar free soda
Kid-friendliness: Your kids will love the fries food

Third time eating Katsu Bar but first time having it delivered through DoorDash. I really like their Katsu Rice Bowl. I also ordered the Mushroom Tempura that was supposed to come with Aoili sauce but they forgot to include it. The box was folded shut and when I opened it, all the mushrooms were pretty much steamed and soggy. I was really disappointed that I had to pay for steamed mushrooms with no sauce to dip with. Also, no Utensils were included. Please let us know ahead of time if you're not going to include utensils so that we can ask for it. I called the store and they didn't know what to do or what to say. The manager (Anthony) was unapologetic and had no sympathy in his tone of voice. Please come up with a store policy - or plan - so that you know how to handle these situations when your customer is missing items from their orders.

Wow!! What a great lunch!! The curry katsu plate and katsu sandwich are just amazing. Super tasty! Extremely enjoyable and highly recommended. The cashier was one of the most friendly staff member we ever encountered at a fast food place. Simply outstanding!

I had never been here before yesterday. There was just one cashier during a little lunch rush and she was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything to everyone. I believe her name was Kaitlin but I could be wrong. She was so sweet and kept checking in on everyone to make sure everyone had everything they needed. We will definitely be back, not just for the food but her amazing service as well!
I stopped by for a quick lunch and was blown away by the options and values this restaurant has to offer. The staff was super friendly and attentive! Noticing it was my first time, they even threw in a free banana milk. I really enjoyed the yubu pocket set. Will definitely be back to try more of their specialties!

The place is super clean. There was only 1 cashier but she was super organized and friendly. The food was very well presented and tasted good but the meat quality is comparable to fast food. The chicken texture is similar to McDonald’s chicken nuggets but it was still good. You have a choice of pork, chicken or beef hamburger for the katsu. The curry was light and flavorful. We will come back to try their large variety of other menu items.
