I called several times and they’ve answered and hung up. Unacceptable.

Nice atmosphere. Ladies at front desk ignored me but a young man in the kitchen noticed me, greeted me and helped me get my to go order. Than I was questioned by a young lady if I had paid for it… I bought artichoke spinach dip for $17. Portion was small but was given a lot of garlic bread. Dip was cold and did not taste right. Actually had kind of a fishy taste, gross. Could not eat it and will not go back. Definitely disappointed. I love artichoke spinach dip and never knew it could taste so bad.

My friend and I decided to come here after checking the times they are open on Google (see photo). It's advertised they are open till 10, so we figured last call would be around 9:30. We can in at 9:10 and the bar area was pretty full of people, and they had a few large parties at the tables in the dining area still, so we really didn't expect to be send away. The kid working said we could only order for take out, claiming they actually close at 9:30, despite their Google listed hours. Even if this is correct, there is no way they were going to have all the bar people and large table parties gone by then anyway. They could have easily made our cheese bread and salad and had us out before the large parties anyway. The teenagers working here clearly don't care about customer experience or the business making money. They just want to get off work as quickly as possible. We went to The Habit, in the same center, who was more than happy to have our bussiness instead of pushing us out.

Used to be better honestly, and the kids that help you at the front are like they re making you a favor helping you, as I said it used to be nicer! 😕

Good pizza good beer

This pizza is unfortunately hit or miss. The most recent purchase the pizza tasted really sweet for some reason and the toppings were slim. Not many good options for pizza in Irvine let alone Orange County. Hopefully next time it’s better.

Took almost an hour to get our cheese pizza, the other pizza we ordered with toppings arrived a full 15 minutes earlier. The location in Fountain Valley is quicker, family friendly, and worth the drive.

Came here Sunday morning at 11am with my wife and boy who was entertained by the small arcade area/pinball machine. Pizza and staff great as usual.

When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly empty, but Back Street Brewery had a few patrons enjoying drinks at the bar. We were able to order beer right away, and the server was kind enough to offer me a taste before I committed!

One thing I wish was clearer: the menu didn’t list prices for the beers, so I had no idea how much each one cost until I saw the total bill. It would be great to have that transparency upfront. That said, I appreciated the selection—they had a mix of BSB’s own brews along with offerings from other breweries, which made for a well-rounded variety.

The dog-friendly patio is great, especially for enjoying that beautiful OC weather. As for food, we decided to try the Pesto Supreme pizza, and it did not disappoint! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the cheese pulls were seriously impressive.

Overall, I’m happy to have another solid brewery option in Irvine and look forward to coming back!

We found this pizza restaurant on a west coast vacation we took and we decided to stop in Irvine for a meal and to grab some groceries next door. We were very happy with the food and service and we really liked the atmosphere. We wish there was a restaurant like this near our hometown as we would be regulars here!
