I ordered this place many many times. One time I also noticed the “suspicious” fried tofu with black dots on them. I was so angry so I called the owner, they explained to me the crispy tofu soaked with 卤汁 sauce will make the tofu looks like it’s not fresh… I didn’t believe him at first then I poked the black dots and they were really small pockets of sauce…. I don’t think they deserve a 3 star!!! It’s actually really yummy and taste fresh… I often crave this...
