Due to the service we experienced here, we didn’t get to enjoy our food and learn about this unique flavor. We were met with an Extremely hostile server who was clearly mentally unstable from the start. After we ordered food he verbally harassed us at the table making derogatory remarks when we asked for anything at all. The manager who was working that evening was very present so I’m shocked he allowed this behavior. The server even came up to me telling me I should leave a review on him and make sure to mention his name “ Charles”. I’ve never dealt with such mental instability from a server while trying to enjoy a night out for dinner.
The only positive to this review is how the district manager lan handled it. I called Him and he called me back the very next day and was so very sincere in his apology. Come to find out we weren’t the only ones who experienced this harassment from a server for literally no reason. I hope they find employees that can represent their restaurant in a more professional manner so people can have the chance to decide if their menu lives up to the “hype”

food was good but the service was terrible. the asian guy in the black shirt just ignores us when we were looking for a table. when we got seated there were 2 cops AFTER us that were seated and they got a server before us. anyways i liked the food, servings were small though.

I want to start off by saying that I'm a pretty patient person and rarely write reviews that are this negative but hear me out, unless you're a influencer or associated with the owners in the restaurant in any way, be prepared to clear your schedule of any plans. Me and my wife put ourselves in line on yelp and found it a little odd that when we arrived the restaurant was pretty empty. We got seated within 15 mins of our arrival which was pretty reasonable. We were seated next to a nice couple who got seated the same time we were, now I decided to order something they specialized in which included the famous "wok hei" shrimp broth and my wife ordered the crispy chicken noodle. My dish arrived after about 30 mins and we didn't mind but I normally wait until my wife's dish arrives so that we can eat together , 20 mins proceeds to go by, then we decide to ask one of the waiters why it was taking so long, the waiter proceeded to say "We'll go check on that", another 10 mins pass by, After almost 35 mins later my wife's dish arrives and it looked like a (pardon my french) half assed dish my 10 year old niece can make in 5 mins or less. The broth was bland, noodles lifeless and chicken tasteless. By this time my dish was cold but didn't want to have them reheat my bowl, otherwise we may need to wait another half hour. Now for my dish, unless you like the taste of the ocean or a really big seafood fan, it's definetly not recommended, overall the dish was just okay. Now for the nice couple seated next to us, we had originally thought they only ordered one bowl to share but to our surprise, their second bowl didn't arrive until almost 30 mins later. Now keep in the mind, the restaurant was no where near capacity and the servers were just walking around, they literally had nothing to do, the chefs in the kitchen were so lax they had time to play cards, of course this is only a slight exaggeration. Now if the restaurant was really busy, I can understand the wait but for abysmal food to be served at this pace should be a crime against the national restaurant association of America but I digress, here's the kicker a family was later seated next to us almost 20 mins later and they received everything they ordered within 10 mins of placing their order. So they ate their food, payed for everything and we were still waiting for our second bowl of noodles. Now if that isn't favoritism I don't know what is, Now do yourself a favor and stay away from here unless you have absolutely no plans, even then the quality of the food is questionable and not worth it. My wife and I originally thought that the Pho noodle store next door and the Silverlake Ramen near the theater would have competition but at this rate, Le Shrimp will probably close down before the end of 2025 if they continue to treat their customers like this. Remember the bigger you are the harder you fall. I still find it so funny that these influencers are popping up on my fees hyping up the restaurant. TLDR: Unless you're an influencer or related to the owners, don't expect to receive any service. The influencers should be ashamed of promoting this place, If you guys had any morals you wouldn't praise them, instead provide professional criticism.
Score is 1.5 out of 5 and this is being very generous .

Horrible experience for me. We(party of 4) had to wait around 35min for the noodles to come out and one of them was even a wrong item. We were there in between meal time, so restaurant was only half full and it is certain that they were not able to handle 50% stress.
My noodle was less than warm and my wife's noodle was mushy. Karaage was undercooked. My daughter, a big fan of ramen, did not enjoyed her noodle, which never happened in any other ramen place through her life. Food quality is clearly not worth the price. My daughter said "I wish I could jump over to Pho Saigon Pearl(the restaurant next door)".
One of the table near us, a couple was seating, and a guy was served first and a lady still did not get her ramen even after he finished his. They were frustrated and complained to the manager, but it seemed that there was no hope. This lady couldn't get her meal until we left the venue.
The door to the kitchen makes unbearably huge metallic noise when shut. It made all of us wanted to leave as early as possible.
Short staffed and lack of training seems to be the reason for the horrible experience and I truly wish the management take a good analyze to improve overall experience.

With so many tables empty and short waiting staff on a weekend evening, there was a 45-minute wait time to be seated. Sadly the dining experience was beyond poor and even unpleasant which was a bad start to an evening out. My order was taken by a male work (i assume a management personnel). The food items coming out of the kitchen were taken to the tables by running workers who don’t have a clue what the tables ordered. It’s clear because items I didn’t order were coming to my table and missing items from these robot-like workers without concern. Some appetizers came 20 minutes from ordering but still missing one dish. Ordered drinks (canned drinks too) came about 25 minutes after ordering but missed one canned drink which was brought over 6-8 minutes later. Don’t waste your money on these canned drinks. The robot-worker was asking tables around us how everything was going with their dining experience but skipped us. On his next drink go around, he dropped off our last drink. It took me getting the attention of the wait staff to inquire where my other dishes are which they gave a generic answer “it’ll be right out” with an apology. This news wasn’t settling well being a hangry person sitting in the chilly evening on their patio area. Soon the last appetizer arrived. After 10 minutes, my trio ramen arrived but also what looked like all my other appetizer dishes ordered. After clarifying what was received and remaining, I could finally eat my main meal since sitting for 50 minutes. Tasting the shrimp broth for the 2nd time at the new Irvine location wasn’t impressive as my 1st time at the South Coast Plaza location many years ago. The dish looked sad and sloppy. The prawns were bland. I tasted a slight charred flavor from the broth and lacked the silk rich creaminess I remembered. No staff came around to refill waters and it was an effort to wave a person down to settle the check. For a pleasant dining experience, just avoid coming here. It’s very telling when you see a restaurant not full especially on a weekend.

The food is fine. The standard Le shrimp bar taste but the working efficiency is soooo bad. We waited outside for more than 30min though they claimed the wait time would be just around 10min. The funny parts was that we saw so many empty tables inside but they just couldn’t sit us because they didn’t want to stress the kitchen out! It’s quite funny to say but there were only like around 5-6 tables had customers inside lol. The manager did such a poor job on servicing. With a poker face, saying he couldn’t order food or sit us while waiting. No smile, no gentle worlds and rude. I would not come back again to this location. The South Coast Plaza one is much better.
