Chicken gizzards with sour beans and stir-fried yellow beef. Good reviews as always!

Rubbish hotel. Why hasn't it closed down yet? The last time I got food poisoning, the hotel didn't pay a penny. The service attitude is also terrible.

I called and placed my order 30 minutes in advance, but I still had to wait in the store for 20 minutes to get my order. There are only two tables of customers in the store, which is ridiculous.

If you like your Chinese food on the authentic side and don't mind having MSG once in a while then it's a good place to go, ordered take out few times and they were good, the salty egg eggplant was a bit greasy but the taste was not bad. Service is average.

服务差的不得了,给个菜单10分钟没人来点单让客人自己点自己炒菜吗?The service is terrible. Give a menu for 10 minutes without an order and let people cook their own dishes?

It tastes good and is a great place for people from home to have dinner together.

The manager has a very very bad attitude. Don’t think I ever get such a bad service elsewhere in Irvine.

Worst service ever!!! Only 1 waitress for the entire restaurant & she was avoiding us since we didn’t speak Chinese. The only communication she ever had w/ us was her pointing to an empty booth in the back of the restaurant. No menus & no water provided. She only took care of the to-go orders for 20 mins. We walked out!

I have been to this place many times and tonight I ordered to go for pickled Dikon with pork and when I arrived home and I was very disappointed. Every single piece of pork they gave me is fat. I think they do it for all to go orders. To give the piece that dine in people don't want. I don't think I will ever go to this one again. Attachment is the picture of the food

Long, whoever that is, makes some pretty good mapo tofu. It's got the right amount of spice to make me sweat gently. This place is so authentic that when I asked for a fork, because let's be honest a fork is a better utensil than chopsticks, the waitress didn't know what a fork was. We had to get a translator to explain what a fork was. They had me smiling in this fine establishment.

Small location but amazing atmosphere. Not as extravagant in decor as many chinese restaurants. I would describe it as clean and classy. I visited pretty late and the long work day was apparent among the staff. This led to some missed opportunities, but I could tell they were nice and seemed really friendly with each other. The staff behaved like a family and it was great to see. I had the beef and green pepper stir fry and the beef fried rice with no egg. The fried rice was a no go. Really oily and no other ingredients(I asked for no egg). The beef was well seasoned and tasted great. As for the stir fry, intense and complex flavor. Slightly on the spicier side which I loved. The biggest drawback to this dish was the lack of noodles or rice. It is just the beef and peppers, which seems like a miss. This place has potential. I would love to see more of an effort towards giving recommendations to people new to the cuisine.

I used to come here often. Their signature dishes were my favorite, as I love spicy food. But this past week, I ordered my usual 农家小炒肉 to go, big portion too. When I got home and opened it, fully 80% of the so call "meat" are pure fat. Never have I ever seen this at any restaurant. If I had dined in, I doubt they would do that to customers. But to scam a takeout customer and long time one at that. Disappointing to say the least.

Excellent food and service. This is home-style Hunan food, with no fussing, frills, or garnishes. The eggplant with pork, mapo tofu, the Hunan fish filet, and beef with green pepper (Serrano) are all standouts. Everything is spicy, but nothing is too spicy. It's all very well balanced. What a fantastic restaurant.
