Great for afternoon lunch and sitting outside. Dumplings were great, especially combo deal.

The chicken was burnt to a crisp.

I used to go here all the time. They have fallen off in recent months. The last 3 times I've gone they were out of the dumplings that I wanted. So I left empty handed. Fortunately, hubby went to culinary school and has figured out how to make them for me at home. No need to be disappointed again. Consistency is key, and they've been pretty consistent with disappointment lately.

Their food is good, and I like the pricing, but it just takes too darn long! It takes 20-30 min for a meal that on a student’s time just isn’t worth the effort. More people should be in the back or some things need to change.

1. The atmosphere
2. Menu - vegetarian options
3. Customer Service/ Overall
1. The artwork adds a unique touch to the restaurant. Small space with a fair amount of seating options.
2. I was disappointed with their menu. They were out of the beyond. So opted for the other option and the taste was not it.
3. I was also disappointed with the customer service. The environment was not welcoming. It was difficult communicating with the staff.

I ordered the bulgogi beef over rice and dumplings. The first was vary tasty! And the second dish, also very tasty? the latter were like a cross between chicken fingers and dumplings- crispy on the outside and plenty of flavors from the filling. Filling too.

Small little shop, has few chairs inside. Ordered by a screen. We got the Mix and Match 9 Dumplings for $13. Lagonisa Dumpling, good and sauce was sweet and spicy. Fried Chicken, very good would get again and recommend. The price could've been cheaper but worth a try. Got the Bulgogi Bowl and it looks very good but it tasted dry.

Food:
The egg fried rice was a disappointment. Egg was unflavored and in huge chunks, the rice was unflavored and sticky, and a lot of the mushroom was burnt to black. The dumplings were also nasty. Thick skin and oily insides, it is truly is the “mad” dumpling.
Service:
I ordered dine-in yet my food was given in a plastic box and bag.
Atmosphere:
Floor was sticky, table was sticky, it was overall pretty nasty. I could tell why there were almost no customers at lunch time.

Overall I do not recommend this place, I would recommend buying frozen dumplings or fried rice and heat it yourself.

I’ve been here multiple times and the food is good. However, today I ordered a mix and match and only got one half of my order and not the rest. I went back in to check and they insisted that I got all of my food when I didn’t. Slightly disappointed.

Dumplings are flavorful but todays service was a mess1. Water dispenser kicked out black flakes when we filled up a cup.2. Took 35 minutes to make our order. One employee working during this period (dinner rush on a Saturday) is probably not the best move3. After driving home we realize we had someone else's order. - and it wasn't something anyone in our home would eat. Wasted an hour with this orderI'm not sure how this concept went from award winning food truck to this.

Mad Dumplings in Irvine offered a tasty experience with a slight caveat: parking. Kiosk ordering was quick and convenient, while the fried "OG" dumplings lived up to their name. However, finding parking in the busy shopping center during peak hours could be a challenge.
