Mariko's Deli is a quaint place tucked away between other little office suites, and it happens to be one of my favorite places in Irvine because the food they serve is delicious and wholesome + their service is great. What I would personally recommend is the chicken sandwich with their cilantro bread. The sandwich consists of tomatoes, leaves, a creamy sauce (slightly cheesy), and some juicy chicken. Every single ingredient is high quality and it's very easy to discern as you chomp away, but the best part is that none of the ingredients overpower each other. The chicken is lightly seasoned so it gives room for the sauce and the bread to bring their own flavors into play. The cilantro bread itself is amazing, as the cilantro gives it a unique citrus-y flavor which helps balance out the creaminess of the sauce (ya kno acid vs fat) + the texture of the bread is amazing as well, just the right amount of fluff and firm. Side note: If you happen to hate cilantro, they have other breads you can choose from such as beet, sesame and flax seed, brocolli etc. Food aside, the people here are extremely polite and you can also try samples of things before buying them. Additionally, the place inside is very pleasant to sit at, feels very homey and cute. The only thing that sucks is that they're only open select days of the week for a very limited amount of hours, but if you ever get the chance to try this place you should definitely do so.

After yoga, I wanted to have something warm and good fro my body. I tried warm carrot soup and rice chicken ball were perfect lunch I love their matcha cake so much. Great texture and so delicious. Also all staffs were so sweet and friendly. This is definitely one of my favorite cafe in OC

It was hard to imagine how nice the deli was decorated from outside. Small place but very comfortable to have lunch at. The food was truly organic, clean, fresh, and beautifully presented. The taste was a real wow. I am very picky about quality of food but I don't have to worry about anything to try what they make. We wish we lived closer.
Excellent small bread balls all homemade by scratch. This is a hidden gem! Located near the John Wayne airport in Irvine. Great place for your small group. Or just with friends. Our group meets here. They have coffee, drinks, freshly baked breads, sandwiches, salads and much more. The service is great. So friendly. Their chocolate cake is so yummy. Recommended.

They make their dressings here and you can even buy it for their customers to use at home! 2. Creamy beet soup 5/5 YUUMMY! I taste heaven in my mouth with angels. Super creamy, refreshing, and hearty. How can I eat anywhere else after having this dish? 3. Tofu sandwich with cilantro bread 5/5 the bread here tastes so fresh and soft. The bread has vegetable essence in them to add subtle shade and aroma. Tofu was too much flavor for me when combined with the sauce but over all balances out with the meal. 4. Organic coffee 5/5 excellent

They gave me 2 desert samples as an added bonus. Would highly recommend! Tip, it's a bit hidden in a business park and located next to a dry cleaner.
