First visit. I had the Chimichurri Steak and Bacon sandwich. Very good sandwich, steak was a little chewy, with only one small piece of gristle. Liked all the trimmings, especially the peppers and onion jam. Served on a good sesame roll. My order was take away, had to wait 45 minutes before eating, and I would think that the sandwich would have been better had I eaten it in the store. Recommended.

Service is usually good, but the new shorter male employee has been policing customers in a way that feels inappropriate. He also doesn’t seem culturally aware, and several other South Asian customers have mentioned they don’t feel welcome. I live in Irvine, but I now go to the Tustin location because of this.

I love Mendocino and all the fresh varieties of food they have. With peaches in season right now the peach sandwich and salad are amazing. I love that the options are healthy and fresh. Customer service is always great and you're greeted with a smile.

Their pickup process is a mess. They don't use the pickup shelves, instead they just leave the food on a counter with barely readable names and without calling the name of the order most of the time. It's also always late.

Almost decided to pass up this place after reading some of the bad reviews, but after having a sandwich, I'm glad I gave it a shot and came to the conclusion that most bad reviews were people just wanting to complain; like the lady whining about her food being served on an aluminum tray 🙄. Get over yourself.
The sandwiches were amazing and so was the staff. Everybody was friendly and you can tell they were genuinely concerned about us having the best experience possible with our dining experience.
Definitely a good place to try if you're wanting a good sandwich!
