I love Mendocino and all the fresh varieties of food they have. With peaches in season right now the peach sandwich and salad are amazing. I love that the options are healthy and fresh. Customer service is always great and you're greeted with a smile.

Their pickup process is a mess. They don't use the pickup shelves, instead they just leave the food on a counter with barely readable names and without calling the name of the order most of the time. It's also always late.

Love this location! Love the food! Hate that they never, ever, give me the dressing I ordered. Always check if you asked for dressing. This is the third time in a row I’ve had to cross check and go back in after I left and ask for the dressing I ordered.

Almost decided to pass up this place after reading some of the bad reviews, but after having a sandwich, I'm glad I gave it a shot and came to the conclusion that most bad reviews were people just wanting to complain; like the lady whining about her food being served on an aluminum tray 🙄. Get over yourself.
The sandwiches were amazing and so was the staff. Everybody was friendly and you can tell they were genuinely concerned about us having the best experience possible with our dining experience.
Definitely a good place to try if you're wanting a good sandwich!

I have seen Mendocino Farms here for years especially when I was a college. I never went inside until years later when I was in my final year of training. I never went inside because I heard it was one of those very fancy but expensive sandwich places which meant I couldn't afford it lol. But when I finally went inside I realized it wasn't out of my reach after all. And I can see the hype! Their sandwiches are very very delicious. Good quality and good pricing too! Service is fast and professional.

Very disappointed. The whole meal was served on an aluminum plate and served with basil pesto shells and spicy curried couscous in a plastic container. The sandwich bread is warm, but the filling is cold. The tables were not clean. They gave my husband a huge steel soup spoon, and they gave me a plastic fork. We had a totally different experience in another location. They served the sandwich on a ceramic dinner plate, and it was nice and warm. Basil pesto shells served in a nice ceramic/glass container. The whole experience was pleasant.

placed a pickup order and waited patiently, only to find out later that my food had been stolen. I kept checking in with the staff, but no one took the time to actually look into the issue or verify what was being prepared. They just kept telling me, “It’s not ready yet.”
After a long wait, instead of taking responsibility or offering help, the manager told me that this store “isn’t for me.” Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. If a customer’s order goes missing, the staff should be proactive—not dismissive.
Will not be returning to this location. Do better.

Nice place for sandwiches or salad bowls in the UC Irvine University Center. We had the Thai Mango Salad and the Peruvian Steak sandwich. The sandwich was a bit greasy and very spicy, but the salad was a perfect mix of protein and fruit. Very nice lady helping us at checkout. You order at the counter and they will bring it to your table. Outside seating was nice but not a lot of tables on the shade.
