Our waiter Roger was especially impressive. He did everything right and was very personable and extremely helpful.
We've been coming to Mimi's for the past 14 years. Variety of options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Experienced waiters.
Mimi's was NOT honoring reservations on Thanksgiving at all. We arrived early for our reservation. They added my name and number of guests to the walk-in list. The only reason we got seated within half an hour of our reservation time was we stood right by the hostess station and I kept staring at them and telling them we had a reservation. Why take reservations for a very busy night if you are not going to honor them?? We have eaten at Mimi's for Thanksgiving in the past, but never again!
We left after waiting 30 mins. Place was full and reservations weren't acknowledged. It was first come, first served and hosts were scrambling so we left.
This speaks specifically to the Thanksgiving meal experience. Despite having a reservation, we waited with a crowd of people for our table. The service was slow and the food was not that good which surprised me for Mimi's Cafe.
i went here on thanksgiving and it was super crowded. I'm thinking a ton of people came by without a reservation? The server was nice but overwhelmed as it looked like everybody was there.. I feel bad for them, but there was no utensils on the table, which was kind of weird. Then I asked for no whip cream on my decaf café latte , and at first he put it on even though I said no, and then went back to take it off and brought it back. There was some kind of bright light in the room that they didn't have curtains for so if someone could look at that for the future.. I literally felt blinded by the sun and had to wear sunglasses facing my mom. So we ended up having to sit on the same side of the table.. Also, the pie was not brought until we requested it and that was part of the dinner and he did give us a to go box for it, but I was trying to eat it there so that was another confusion The food was very good and heated nicely, not lukewarm so we appreciated that I still like Mimi‘s but sometimes it seems a little disorganized just FYI. Yes we understand. It was super busy, but you should at least have your utensils at the table.
We had an 11:00 reservation for a large party, but they seemed to be surprised to see us. Didn't get seated until 11:30. It was raining and they had multiple leaks from the ceiling throughout the restaurant. They had buckets below the leaks to catch falling water...not cute
Mimi’s Café is the perfect mix of cozy and classy. The menu has a little something for everyone—from hearty breakfasts to fresh salads and comforting entrees. The food is always flavorful and served in generous portions, and their baked goods are a must-try (don’t sleep on the muffins!). The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it great for family meals, brunch with friends, or even a casual date. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes every visit feel special. Definitely a go-to spot when you want good food in a relaxed setting!

It's been quite some time since we've eaten here. The food was fine but not as good as remembered. Service was a tad slow even though the restaurant appeared to not be busy.

We had a large group and asked for a table away from the crowd; it was very noisy and our group of 12 did not get to visit as we planned. The waitress tried to make it right. We won't meet at Mimi's in future.
The service was excellent. 3 people asked us several times if we needed anything. They were very attentive and very nice. We did not enjoy sitting next to the Asian family speaking another language the whole time!! It was very hard to hear our own conversation and to relax with their constant what sounds like babbling. They spoke english because they spoke it to the waiter and waitress. People from other countries should speak english if they are able while in public and their own language at home in private. It's disrespectful to Americans who are from here and want to enjoy there time eating and relaxing. I think they do it on purpose. They kept staring at us and we didn't know what they were saying while laughing. It's very uncomfortable not knowing what they are saying. We should have asked to move which is wrong living in our own country.
