I’ve been a loyal customer from the Costa Mesa location. I’d go there nearly daily, their bagels were my absolute favorite. I tried this location a few times now since I moved and they do not match up to the other location. I just had the hardest, most stale bagel I’ve ever had in my life. Probably wouldn’t purchase food here again.

Love coming here the vibe inside is great and they have outdoor seating and bike racks. It's an electric scooter distance from UCI Campus which is really nice. Their drinks and food are great!

What a lovely, cozy coffee shop!
Stopped in here this morning and got a churro latte and a yogurt parfait. The staff were warm and friendly for the early hour, and the latte and yogurt were both super tasty. The granola was delicious and crunchy.

I wish I could have stayed for longer to read a book and had gotten a larger coffee to enjoy it for longer haha. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through the area!

Sadly not living up to the MoonGoat name right now, nowhere near as good as the Costa Mesa location. It’s a huge bummer because MoonGoat Costa Mesa is one of my favorite coffeeshops in the world, but they’re clearly not focusing enough resources on the Irvine location and it shows. Coffee tasted both burnt and watery, milk not foamed properly either (worst third-wave coffee I’ve had in years). Really long wait to order because cashier was chatting with someone for 5+ minutes. Really annoying music blaring way too loud. Seating at this location leaves something to be desired too. Please try to do something differently at this location, whatever this is right now isn’t working.

Burnt and ashy tasting coffee, no attempt to make microfoam. Starbucks level coffee at best despite la Marzocco / mahlkonig setup.

Terrible service. Employees didn't even start making our lattes for a while. They just stood around and were joking and chatting with one another. Not only that, but they did my order wrong.

I heard good things about Moon goat so decided to give it a try. I ordered an iced churro latte as recommended by the cashier as the most popular drink and was excited to try it. After a 15+ minute wait I got my order and left. It had absolutely no flavor. I’m not sure if they forgot to add ingredients or what but tasted like plain coffee with milk. It was disappointing.

I would’ve give 5 stars but my only complain is that they should open until later time on the weekends….
