The coffee and teas are delicious, and the workers are an absolute gem. They are always so sweet, I really appreciate all the effort they put in.

I saw a flight/sampler called Shift Change online but it wasn't on their current menus in the shop but they were able to still do it. I had so much fun tasting and comparing notes with the baristas and the descriptions on the beans. Super friendly, generous, and helpful! Their filtered coffee and cold brew were both my style and pricing was pretty reasonable.

I think it is okay, but I have had better coffee/matcha. I think it has good vibes but taking into account the price of the drinks, I would rather go somewhere else.

The staff here are always friendly, the coffee is excellent, and the space is clean and welcoming. Byron always makes my visit even extra special—thank you! Overall, Moongoat is a great spot and my go-to in Irvine.

We really like this café and come here often because the food is always good. However, today the portion we received was noticeably smaller, almost half of what it usually is. Hopefully this was just a one-time mistake, because we would love to keep enjoying this place as we usually do

This is a great place to get work done. Usually full with UC Irvine students. I found it easy to focus here.

Food and coffee are nothing special, you could get much better elsewhere.

The cafe itself is a nice clean environment, but has pretty limited seating, you’ll be waiting a while for a table if you wanted to sit inside.

I ordered a banana matcha latte and the deluxe avocado toast. The matcha was great but the avocado toast was not what I was expecting. For some reason I thought it would be hot or at least warm. But the whole thing was cold. Cold hard boiled egg, cold bacon, cold roasted tomatoes which kind of threw me off. The flavor was okay but not great. Definitely not worth the 14$. Not getting again, stick to the drinks for sure

While the place looked clean and nice, the coffee was less than average. It is always a shocker when you pay money for a cup of coffee and realize that you can make a better one at home. I ordered a cappuccino and my wife got a toasted matcha drink, both were a disappointment. The Cappuccino tasted off more on the Sour side, i am able to pull better espresso shots with my breville touch at home than what i had there. The taste was disappointing and i was very unsatisfied. Since i limit my caffeine intake that meant that it was the only coffee i am having that day. Now for the toasted Matcha, it tasted like sugar and hot chocolate infused with the flavor of Matcha, which was very disappointing for my wife, and she threw out the cup. The Croissants were the highlight of the experience as they tasted good. I don’t know if it was the barista, not knowing how to make the drinks or if it was the beans of the coffee they used themselves. I sure will find out because I did buy two bags of their freshly roasted coffee beans, which I am going to make at home soon.

Coffee is soooo goood. Perfect balance of taste.
