Had very high hopes for this restaurant based oj the unique menu and reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Made reservations and upon arriving had nothing but issues and attitude from the hostess staff (especially the chubby Asian female). This is one of those restaurants that won't seat you until most of party is there. I can understand this in most cases, but at 6pm, the restaurant was largely empty with plenty of empty tables. So we had to squat on the tiny little foot stools until more from our party came in from the parking lot. Once enough of us were there, it took several more minutes and 2 other hostesses asking us if we were helped or not. At one point one hostess tried to seat us outside and we refused as it was still quite warm outside. This whole time we are looking at 6 empty tables and there's no reason why they can't seat us. A bad start and the confusion and attitude from the hostess staff just out us off. We ordered family style as we wanted to all try so many different things. Portions were quite small given the price of the dishes, after our initial order we had to order 2 more because it wasn't enough. Overall we had high expectations for the food and it was all disappointing. The tomahawk chop and ribeye steak (the 2 most expensive dishes on the menu) lacked flavor, if not for the sauces provided it would have no flavor. Garlic noodles weren't good (also lacked flavor), fried rice was bland. Chicken was acceptable (but again sauce made it better). Overall if it were for the sauce, the food wasn't good. Dinner ended up over $300, at that price coupled with the bland food and testy hostess staff made this evening a waste of time and money. I won't repeat again.

Food - ordered the lemongrass fried tofu and I think it was very delicious, specially the sauce. The sticky rice that came with it I didn't care for too much, I wish there was an option for plain jasmine steamed rice. Ambience and Seating - we were seated very close to the window and so it was pretty warm and a little uncomfortable where we were seated. Value - it's a little on the pricey side Overall - good experience but probably won't go to this location again.

Food and service were great. We are seated at around 2pm. Not a long wait even if we made reservation for 1:45. Inquired about happy hour menu. We were told we can only order from happy hour menu if we are seated in the patio area which is unheard of but other than that all is good.

I went to Nep for brunch before, and this time, we did dinner, which didn't disappoint! 10/10 recommend the beef carpaccio, wings, shrimp toast, shaken beef, and fried rice with filet mignon. Our server was super nice! The only thing missing was the ube coconut beer—the keg was tapped. But we'll come back and it'll hopefully be available then!

Absolutely loved the brunch food and service at Nep! Ordered the calamari and ceviche appetizers and both were flavorful, unique and delicious. The calamari had a unique lemongrass-infused flavor and was extra crispy and tender. Wish the ceviche was twice the size because it was so perfectly balanced and we wanted more! The main course brunch items we ordered were also delicious and flavorful. We ordered the filet Mignon (Banh mi Chao), beef tongue stew and 5-spice quarter chicken plate. The chicken was so delicious, I didn't even care that its center was a little too pink. However, when the manager came by to check on us, he noticed the bones right away. Not only did he notice it, he offered to comp us for the chicken and apologized profusely. We were all amazed and mind-blowned. From the manager to our server, we've had the best service. This is testament to the top-notch restaurant experience one rarely sees these days. Thank you for an amazing experience! We will be back to visit when in town again.

We arrived at the restaurant at 2:40 P.M, since our reservation was at 2:45 P.M. Seating was promptly. We sat there and waited until 3:10 to have our order taken. Service was slow. Most of the time, I noticed our server was engaging in conversations in the back, but failed to help us when we needed assistance. We finished our food, but still nobody checked up on us. I looked around for help and ended up have to go up front to ask to pay. But they said I have to come back to sit at the table to be able to pay. Super frustrating! We waited to have orders taken and waited again for the check. I will never come back. Other Kei Concepts restaurants have better customer service.
Delicious, plenty, great service and aesthetically pleasing. Had the Vietnamese ceviche, beef tongue fried rice and beef stew. The Vietnamese coffee with salt cream was amazing 🤩 Definitely coming back whenever in the area.

I hesitate to give a glowing review, because I don't want anyone else to know about NEP. LOL. This is another one of Kei Concepts restaurant group creations. This is a hidden gem within a bustling shopping center and well-loved, as every time we come it is jam packed. A good sign in the sea of restaurants in OC. The ambiance is energetic which lends to the vibrancy of the menu. So many great things to choose from but I cannot say enough about the wonton appetizer and the amazing pork tomahawk (a juicy and flavorful delight). Combined with the great service and creative cocktails this place is a winner. Just don't tell anyone else. Enjoy.
