Limited seating. Sat on a broken bench.
Greatest Pizza in the OC for the price, and lunch specials are great as well.
I’ve been going to NWP for years, and this is my first bad experience. I called ahead of time to ask if they had the single slices out because I was going to get their lunch special (comes with 2 slices of pizza and drink). The person who answered the phone said they had both pepperoni and cheese slices available. I said that’s great and that I was going to send my husband over to get the lunch specials for us. We live across the street from the center that NWP is at so my husband was there in about 5 minutes after I hung up with the worker. When my husband got there much to my surprise there were NO slices available. The staff told him that they were making more pizzas and that they would push the cheese pizza so we can get our order faster. After he was waiting for a while they told him that it’s going to take another 15 minutes because they’re backed up. I’m really disappointed in the customer service over the phone. The woman who answered clearly lied and it’s just annoying. My husband is literally still there waiting. This is my only negative experience after going to NWP for over 10 years. If it wasn’t for this experience I would leave a 5 star review because I love that they sell their lunch special all day and that their slices are massive. I always get the cheese lunch special. Also, I asked the woman if they had cookies. If you know about their cookies then you will feel my pain that they were out of their chocolate chip cookies when she said they still had them! My husband ended up getting the sugar cookies which are good, but aren’t on the same level as their delicious chocolate chip cookies. Whoever was working on 3/25/25 at 6 (it’s 6:39pm as I write this) needs to get written up or something.
EDIT: My husband just got home and I was excited to eat and the same lady who made all those mistakes gave us a pepperoni lunch special instead of two cheeses! Luckily my husband can eat pepperoni unlike me. If they both ended up being pepperoni he would’ve had to go back. How can you confuse cheese with pepperoni???? SMH.
Many and his team rock, we've been regular customers of Northwood Pizza for the past 10 years
Best pizza in town. PERIOD
This is my family's favorite pizza place. Honestly, the BEST pizza!!
People who give NWP a negative review live in a bubble. It's pizza for God's sake. Not sure what you're expecting. If you have a complaint, just go tell them instead of crying on Google. Hair? Oh no..hair is so deadly. Too expensive you say? Go to Little Caesars, you cheapskate. Parking is bad? Learn to walk more than 50 feet. Service was bad? Probably because you suck.

When you think of pepperoni pizza this is where you get it. I love how thin, crispy, slightly charred each pepperoni is. This is a takeout only place. No seats inside. The staff is friendly and pizza is done around 20-30 minutes. They also have individual cheese or pepperoni slices usually available all day.

Northwood pizza is the best and the little gem in the neighborhood. The owner is very generous and the staff are friendly. They work with my son’s school for many fundraising events. Highly recommend it!

Pizzas are decent and service is good just no wow factor here for the food. A little out of control pricing. Large cheese pizza is now $23 - I know pricing went up but would expect something a little more. Chicken wings are meh - small sizes, no flavor and could use more sauce.

Independently owned, Northwood Pizza has been in the neighborhood for 40 or 50yrs, so basically half a century...It was originated by a couple who retired, both their managers bought the name & kept the traditional recipes, hence continuing the legacy...However, they downsized from a full dine-in pizza place with sports TVs & a full arcade where Dada Shabu Shabu is now to a small take-out in the same strip mall just across from the previous location...Service & pizza are great, sugar cookies are wonderful...My cousins from out of town have traveled alot, ordered a couple loaded pizzas, & exclaimed it was one of the best pizzas they have had...They also serve cheese pizza slices & pepperoni pizza slices...?????
