Bought the food to bring back for my wife and it's the first time of any meal that she decided not to eat a meal after a few bites. We got the lamb/chicken schwarma plate. She asked me where I got the food, I told her at obscure Mediterranean restaurant next to Tang190. She said that every single part of the dish was bad. The lamb, the chicken, the pita, the hummus, and even the garlic sauce was bad. Wow. Just wow. We had to throw away like 95% of the plate because it was Soo bad.

Located in a vibrant part of town, Olyvoyl Bread & Grill offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for casual dining. The warm decor and inviting ambiance make it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a meal.

The service was prompt and friendly. Our server greeted us with a smile and guided us through the menu, ensuring we had everything we needed.

We started our meal with the **zatar and cheese**, which was delightful. The blend of spices in the zatar paired perfectly with the creamy cheese, creating a flavorful appetizer that set the tone for the meal. Next, we tried the **mini pizza**. It was delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust and topped with fresh ingredients. Each bite was a wonderful combination of flavors.

We also ordered the **cheese boats**, which were a standout dish. The boats were generously filled with melty cheese and seasoned to perfection. They were both comforting and satisfying.

As for pricing, I found the menu to be reasonably priced, especially considering the quality and portion sizes of the dishes.

Overall, my experience at Olyvoyl Bread & Grill was excellent. The delicious food, attentive service, and cozy atmosphere make it a place I would gladly recommend to others. I look forward to returning and trying more from their menu.

The multiple 100% Halal Logos on the menu are very reassuring and the food is fresh and tasty. I liked that I could swap a full portion of rice for half with half of something else.

Best Middle Eastern food in Irvine. I love the Lahmbajeen and the Cheese Flatbread. Their shawarma is no joke either.

This place has gotten worse over the years. Recently, and for the third chance I've given, I ordered shawerma bites and wrap. They caused stomach upset, tasted terrible and was very pricey.

No shawerma place should charge extra, much less a high amount, for a small portion of sauce after you pay a crazy amount for food that is much cheaper and tastes better elsewhere. The off taste send to be from the oil they're using, not sure though.

The prices might be extraordinarily absurd due to pressure from Irvine company, which I can't fault the store owners for.

The quality and taste in the other hand is the owner's fault.

They fatayer (mini pizza like pastry) is still good tasting, but not worth the price.

Keep in mind, in hindsight, I should have written this review months ago. But they started out so well years ago, I figured I can give them a few chances more.

Good food, just disappointed that they carry mostly coke products. It’s a Palestinian based restaurant but they continue to sell products from a company that funds the occupation of the Palestinian people. Hope you guys change this soon.

The carry tons of coke and Pepsi products. Shame on them. ??
