Don't get me wrong. Their drinks are one of the best in socal imo. However, they can only accept walk-in order and they claim that this is due to the concern of drink's quality. It's really a pain to wait in the line for over 30 mins in hot summer or cold winter day. I would suggest using online order/check-in system to help eliminate the wait time. People don't have to wait in the line. Instead, they can order online and check in when arrive. After checking in, the store can start preparing drinks. To be honest, for the same wait time in line, I would rather visit the orobae, which is a block away.

Great service, quick and easy! Ordered the Mango Tornado and the Oolong Peach Tea, which were excellent! Greatly recommend this store, only downside is the wait, can be over an hour at peak times.

Wanted to use the restroom but saw that it was closed to customers so I did NOT go or even attempt to open the door. Waited 30 minutes for mediocre drinks and when we went up to grab them, was reprimanded by a creepy little employee who told me “try not to use the restroom next time” even though I never did.

Came here on a weekend and the line was a bit long, about 45 minutes but based on all the reviews, I needed to see the hype. I ended up ordering a Ceylon tea with Tiramisu milk foam. Definitely different than any other boba I’ve tasted, I enjoyed it but not enough to go back again. Maybe I’ll go on a week day another time.

Me and 6 friends went to order drinks, while waiting we asked if we could use the restroom. The staff lied to our face first said there isn’t restroom when it clearly says on the wall, then when I mentioned there is actually one they denied us to use the restroom saying it is broken. Very unfriendly, very rude to customers. What if it was an emergency? No compassion at all!!!

I’ve never waited 30 mins for a milk tea before and once I tasted it, I understood why. Their Omomo matcha with black and white boba is a must. Their strawberry tornado was delicious as well. I could tell they spent a lot of efforts in making sure their quality is top notch.

This is the third time fingers have been cut by the edge/plastic seal of their cups. Since they changed to new cups, the design is particularly narrow, making the edges and seal on top very sharp and easy to cause cuts. The most shocking part was one time I didn’t even realize there was cut until I saw blood all over my hand. This design flaw is extremely dangerous, and I believe it poses a serious safety issue that needs immediate attention.
I ordered the OMOMO Matcha, it was pretty good but nothing that blew me away. There's always a HUGE line outside no matter what day/time you go, and I would say it's not worth the wait. There's very little seating inside and it's always packed with the amount of people waiting for their drinks. So I would only recommend this if the line isn't that bad, otherwise go somewhere else with shorter lines and comparable drinks.

Line was out the door on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm. It moved fast since the staff is efficient at ordering and making the drinks. Mango tornado was good. Nice pieces of fruit and good creaminess to the drink. The jade milk tea with brown sugar boba, 50% sweet, tasted so watered down to me. Brown sugar boba had good texture but couldn't taste the actual brown sugar coating. The store was kept clean with minimalist decorations and wood seating to wait for your drinks to be called. 3.5 rating. Wish the classic milk tea flavor tested better. Will have to give the other drinks a try next time.

Omomo is probably my absolute favorite boba shop in Irvine. And that's saying something because there's a lot of them. Every time I come here, there's always a long line. But don't let that deter you from going. Trust me, it's worth the wait. I'm so happy they have two locations. They're super consistent with their service and it's good that it's a small space because it's very grab and go. My boyfriend absolutely loves the avocado smash and I typically like getting a Ceylon milk tea with pudding. Or a creamomo if I'm feeling a little spicy this is by far the best boba place in the OC that I've tried so far.
